4.1
Recently renovated, visually appealing interior
Large pool and plenty sun beds
Parking right by the hotel
No warm water on most days after 4pm (no remedy provided by the hotel)
Rooms not cleaned thoroughly (floor full of sand right after cleaning)
Some of the waiters downright rude (shouting at a kid, making faces)
Selection and quality of food very poor (e.g. you can find better quality pastry at Lidl)
Coffee machines broken every other day (all of them at the same time, hence no coffee in the morning)
Unnecessarily annoying approach to providing basic amenities considering it’s a 4-star hotel (27 EUR per week charge for the use of the room safe, 8 EUR deposit + 5 EUR charge for a kettle that guests need to fetch themselves from reception)
Absolutely horrendous baby cot. I’ve never seen such a bad quality mattress. I would certainly not give it to my dog, let alone to my child. To be fair a kind cleaning lady went to the trouble of digging up a better one from somewhere after complaining repeatedly.
Lack of English speaking staff. Approximately half of the service staff we came across didn’t understand basic English.

The view if you pay for the sea view room...
My original room was on the first floor which means at the ground level and facing to the street!
You have there absolutely no privacy and they should not offer any of this kinda room!
I had to pay an extra fee to change the room with a sea view.
The hotel is located in front of a bunch of bars - super noisy the whole day!
Food quality was not high as I expected from the 4star hotel.,, Definitely better to have dinner in the restaurant, would be cheaper and nicer!
I asked the staff 3 times to turn on the air conditioner in the gym, but it never happened...

Hotel was excellent but the hot food was very poor most tasted good but was cold every day and they had very strange combinations of foods especially at breakfast .
4.1
Staff was really nice and welcoming. The room was great, with great facilities and confort; breakfast with high variability and really good.
4.1
+friendly and efficient staff
+fair prices
+clean and big flat
+sustainable: no stupid plastic bottles and Hotel sandals
-extrem noisy location, Latino music until midnight.
-very classic breakfast like 20 years ago. very ugly artificial juices, cold scrambled eggs, gummy bacon, dry cheese… I know it’s difficult because average overweight tourist expect all you can eat buffet. but just make one good dish instead of 15 very low quality options.

Great location and facilities for a young family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely, we didn't have any issues with getting a lounger for the day, and the pool bar was great! A very relaxing break for us all.
You have to pay for use of the safe boxes in your rooms.
4.1
spacious rooms, modern and clean
very simple, lacks any kind of personality in the rooms
4.1
Brilliant breakfast, quiet location away from crowds of Cala D’or, designed with families in mind
Give the dinner a miss, you’ll find better options in the square outside, up the hill overlooking Cala Marsal or for more swanky options at the Marina (10mins slow stroll)

Awesome structure on the hotel, top breakfast and dinner. Food was amazing. Hotel structure is really nice.
Cleanliness wasn't good! One day there was even a child poop near to the pool and they took 1 hour to clean it, even after adverted by some guests. Dishes on the dining room were not clean! Water on the pools were not very clean. Unsatisfying opening hours of the pool area. It works from 10:30 to 18:00, exactly when you are out of the hotel visiting the beaches. It would be nice to be able to enjoy the pool after a beach day.

New amenities, rooms and overall facilities are new/renovated.
Location. Food and restaurant staff - which happened to harass me and my friends. Seems like there is an restaurant dress code which was unknown and uninformed until I was in the middle of the restaurant (I was wearing a polo, shorts and havaianas at a summer location) and for that reason the waiter decided to scream (literally) in the middle of the restaurant in front of every other guest. I was never informed at the entrance or by any other staff about that - please be careful..

JS Hotels totally refurbed this hotel during the pandemic (what a great use of the time) and it's a spotless, gleaming 4* affair with brilliant suite-style all-balcony accommodation including super new bathrooms and high-quality furnishings which is replicated in all the public spaces including spotless bars and pool area. Breakfast and dinner selection very good indeed - plenty of choice and very tasty. Only marked down really due to a couple of oddities like needing a cash deposit for a pool towel and having to sign for every drink (sorry but I use my debit card for everything these days - it's the 21st century!). Not the hotel's fault but my stay was spoiled by the cash issue and an ATM glitch which took a week to resolve. Bus stop for everywhere - charming little Felanitx, Cala D'Or and Portocristo - right outside the hotel too and the area's best beach (if busy) is a mere ten minute stroll away. The resort itself is not scruffy as some suggest - it's quite charming in an undeveloped kind of way with more than a couple quality restaurants and bars a short walk away. A brilliant walk to the lighthouse on the other side of the bay revealed three tiny coves with beaches (one a blue flag) with good swimming and a lovely church square cafe.
Cash deposit for towel; signing for drinks.

I had room 409 which faced the pool, took me a minute to work out the pool 'across the road' was our pool!! The room was great - spacious, clean and very quiet.
Their breakfasts were fantastic. There was everything you could possibly want - cooked, continental, fruit, cereal, pancakes the works.
There was a little extendable rack for drying clothes/swim things on the balcony, that was a great touch.
Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in our rooms and maybe a bottle of water for the first night.
There wasn't an iron in your room either, they did have an ironing room on the ground floor though.
Also slightly odd, the light on the balcony stayed on all night. It wasn't too distracting as the curtains were heavy, but if you wanted to sit out in the evening the light was very bright.
You had to pay 10 euro refundable deposit to hire a beach towel, and every time you wanted it changing you had to pay another 2.50 euro
Despite there being a safe in the room, if you wanted to use it, that too had to be paid for - I didn't use it so not sure how much that would have been.

Very good breakfast, clean rooms, good location and friendly staff
bad sound insulation

Clean and modern rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Great pool.
No real bathroom door, i.e. only a swing door with milky glass. Using the bathroom in the night wakes up the other person in the room. Also the sliding doors to the bedroom are just for visibility and not for noise protection.
4.1
Nice rooms, very clean, good food. We liked swimming pool and pool area very much.
Might be some space to put your cosmetics in the bathroom.
4.1
The room was very spacious and nice. Beds were comfortable.
One of the towels had some stains which we took to reception and had it changed, but when we went to bed the bed sheets had a couple of dirty marks as well.
They had an offer for dinner at the buffet so we decided to stay as there weren’t many places around. The quality was very very poor and there weren’t many options. The fish wasn’t fresh, I couldn’t even eat it. I ended up eating cheese and nuts. Very disappointed for a four stars hotel.
Buffet at breakfast was better however things were getting used and not restocked.
4.1
The staff is great, The room is very comfortable. Good location and excellent breakfast for the value
Just a little of humidity in the room
4.1
The food was excellent though you really need a better coffee machine as the coffee was rather weak.
The exhaust didn't work in the WC and during heavy rain, water would come in under the door when we didn't block it with bathroom towels!

All the reviews are correct. Food is exceptional for both breakfast and dinner. Rooms are very spacious. Thoroughly recommend
Couldn’t smoke anywhere in hotel. No ashtray on balcony

This hotel has been recently renovated. The infrastructures are excellent. I was a solo a traveller for a couple of days, bear in mind this is a family friendly hotel. The buffet is nice and the staff in particular are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Even if we stayed only for one night everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely return to this hotel!
4.1
Location was fantastic for activities for the kids, great service and local to 3 beautiful beaches. Not a party spot, so quiet and relaxed. Rooms were perfect for a family of 4! Their renovation has paid off, it was a lovely comfortable stay.
Not a fan of the dinner options myself (there are plenty of other dinner options within 5-10 mins of the hotel), but their breakfast was decent with plenty of options for even the choosiest of children.
