Das Hotel befindet sich in einem tadellosem Zustand. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auf das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet haben wir uns jeden Morgen schon gefreut.Der Standort ist phänomenal.

Everything, it's a beautiful hotel with very spacious and clean rooms.

Everything was perfect

The location is incredible. Right in the historic part overlooking the river and the city in historic buildings that have been renovated. It's so cool to stay in an old watermill where you can see the gigantic wooden beams in the hallways and the old double windows. Everything worth seeing is literally 5-15 minutes walk away.

Staff is nice but very young and it seemed there was never a manager there to help guide them. They definitely could be trained more in clearer communications with guest. That's on management. Also, the rooms are in historic buildings so it's important to make sure all the windows work properly and stay open properly. That wasn't the

Very good breakfast. The view over the channel fantastic. when eating. Good garage for parking in the cellar. Nice rooms, we were two couples and we all agreed this was one of the highligts in Lüneburg. We will return to this hotel when we stay in Lüneburg next time.

Gym is OK, but a bit small and outdated. Dinner buffet was just average.

The toilet in our room was behind the glass door in the bathroom very uncomfortable. We had a leaking basin in our bathroom which made us change rooms at 10pm (repack and unpack ourselves), no sympathy from the staff nor any compensation or discount. The empty bar was staffed by a member who was too busy talking to the only other guest/friend at the bar to pay much attention to us. The young breakfast staff were too busy to clean our selected breakfast table but the manageress was friendly. Booking.com said our room price was inclusive of taxes but we paid a new tax on checkout, this occurred when we arrived not when we left, so we paid up front for our stay, never did that at any other hotel.

parking was very limited, even though the hotel has two small parking garages and a few public parking spots in front of it. It took us an hour of driving around before finding a place to park.

Little pricy

The hotel is very comfortable and well located. The town is pretty and clean. The room was very spacious and well maintained with a nice bath. Breakfast was both generous and varied. The dining room, overlooking the water, is very pretty. Overall this is a hotel which earns its stars.

Fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs which are not dried out.

Wellness area is so nice. The staffs are very kind. Most important part: the hotel is dog friendly.

Das schimmelige Badezimmer, eine staubige Klimaanlage und die Flecken auf dem couch: Unfortunately the cleanliness of the hotel room, was not really up to the standard. We received a free upgrade (A great service)until you have to clean your own hotel room: the shower head was completely moldy -it took me more than an hour to clean(the photo is after the cleaning. It is still in a bad condition), the air conditioning was really dirty- It has not been cleaned for a while as the lamp for the filter change was blinking on the arrival date, the couch and the curtains were with stains. I hope the suite is clean now because everything else about this hotel is great and we would like to come back again next year.

The location in the old town was great! The bed was clean and comfortable. Dogs welcome. Underground parking on site. Location was perfect for exploring the old town. Room views were fantastic!

the French door in the room could not be tipped as is usual. It could either be opened or shut.

Hotel surrounding is exceptional. Views from the windows in the room, the tower overlooking the hotel bar, and the proximity to all the main Luneburg attractions made our stay remarkable. The hotel stuff is professional and friendly.

we were not made welcome at the reception, when we wanted to eat dinner in the restaurant the waiter was rude; altogether we got the impression that nobody cared whether we were there or not. we decided to eat elsewhere. the Hotel is lovely but feels a bit deserted and the staff are certainly not 4 star level.

Standard from 1918 visit has dropped very disappointed l saved for 2 years in order to stop there. Final straw having to go to reception to ask for toilet tissue room was only cleaned on one day. No telephone in room

I would have preferred a sit down dinner rather than a buffet on the Wednesday evening
