We celebrated our anniversary here! Lovely home and the beach is so close.

Although the weather did not cooperate for us, it was a great weekend. House is perfectly clean and set up. Arrival process was easy. Communication with the owner was friendly and quick. Looking forward to going back!

The house was spacious and clean. We loved the views and being right next to the beach. The house was well-stocked with kitchen equipment and beach chairs. There was a great den with couches and a smart TV. The process for getting in and out was flawless. Many good restaurants close by and an easy drive into Portsmouth. I highly recommend this house.

Exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen is well stocked. It's proximity to the beach is perfect. Our boys, ages 5 & 6 had a great time playing at the beach and in the yard. They flew kites, surfed and built forts. It was a GREAT vacation. Wish we had stayed longer. We are already thinking of next year and a longer stay. The owners were amazing to work with, very prompt.

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay at your beach house! It is not often we can get all of our grown children together at one time! Your beach home was the perfect place! Enough room where no one got on the other’s nerves. Everyone felt at home from the second they stepped into the home! The Home is very clean and spacious. Very close (about 20 yards) to a beautiful beach that lend its self to long walks! The yard is great for entertaining, complete with a gas grill. We were in the Rye area for our niece’s wedding. Relatives commented that this beach house and beach would be perfect place for a small wedding! There was plenty of parking at Jennes beach this time of year. Every one of us raved about the place! Thank you again for a great place to stay!

There is no adequate hyperbole to describe how wonderful is this property. Every drawer is filled with whatever you need; just open one! The cabinets contain every bowl, glassware or pot/pan you can imagine. Just arrive with whatever clothes you should wear on the best beach in New Hampshire. Everyone that came to visit observed the house was like a hotel: beautifully furnished, fitted and comforting. If you cannot have fun at this property you have a problem having fun. But rather than shame you into renting, let me describe that the best beach in New Hampshire is a scant twenty yards from the deck of the house. The owners have provided you with everything except your favorite expensive Scotch or vodka. You need not bring your favorite high ball glass. Needless to write I recommend this property without reservation (pun intended).

This is a beautifully finished home just a few short steps to Rye Beach. The home is comfortable and SPOTLESS! There is a great deck, yard and outdoor shower! Our family of eight spent everyday at the beach and could simply walk home for lunch or down time. We enjoyed grilling meals and early morning strolls on the beach. The kids spent hours body surfing and playing in the sand. A magical week for our family. We hope to go back next year! Highly recommended.

Just returned home, reluctantly, after celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the beach house. Property is immaculate. Owners checked in with us to make sure we were setlled and called again after an infamous daylong Noreaster. Just 39 steps between the deck and the sand of one of the most private beaches in Rye. Rooms are larger than they appear. Ample closet and storage space. Made use of everything except the outdoor shower. (Too cool for swimming but there were dozens of surfers most days.) Big screen TV in the family room for college football and DVDs. Fire in fireplace took edge off the early morning and late evening chill. Friends drifted in and out during the week. Once they saw the place they wanted to stay..and did. House accommodated 7 easily. We fixed seafood dinners in the kitchen and adjacent grilling area. Portsmouth is 15 minutes North. It is a breathtaking trip along coast. On one jaunt around dusk we saw deer cross from the Seacoast Science Center to the marsh across the street. Top Porstmouth restaurants: Green Monkey, Jay's Fish Cafe, Oar House and Popovers. Breaking New Grounds is the place for coffee and people watching. Geno's chowder house is off the beaten path (find Prescott Park gardens and ask) but this is where all Republican presidential candidates must pay homage. Political photos are worth a stop plus the chowder is good! Golden Egg is old breakfast favorite at the Portsmouth/Rye border. The Music Hall features classic old movies and interesting music mix. Missed a show at Seacoast Rep by two days. Harbor tour aboard the Heritage on our last day. Magnificent color. Wentworth Douglas House worth looking for, was royal governor's residence. Former Rockingham Hotel now houses Library Restaurant and wonderful fireside pub. Free yoga classes at the Porstmouth Heath Food Store and great organic products. Great little shops in Market Square. Info booth in center of town. Just over the line is Maine. Walked across the Memorial bridge and found spa services in converted barn at Portsmouth Harbor Inn and Spa, KIttery. Got mani/pedi/massage while ocean-gazing. Newcastle, NH is an island wedged between Rye and Portsmouth. Try Latitudes at Wentworth by the Sea for lobster rolls. Perfect dining vista. Rent kayas nearby. South to Newburyport is 30 minutes along coast. Try Michael's Harborside, Cafe di Siena and a long stroll on Plum Island preserve. Three Sisters shop had great gifts. We will definitely return!
