Clean and comfortable, and a lovely garden to sit in the sunshine for an evening drink.

Great hotel for our stay, travelling by bicycle, staff very helpful and somewhere to store bikes.

Initially we did not intend to have breakfast but once we’d seen the produce on display we changed our minds and I indulged. A good selection and the staff explained what was available and where.

Several of the staff were quite rude and unfriendly. Denying that we’d paid for a bag view room despite the fact that we had this on booking.com receipt. They were a bit difficult about storing our bikes that we had told them in advance and made us carry not wheel them to the hotel cupboard. A shame as hotel itself so nice.

We should have been told the restaurant was closed. The hotel was soulless. Staff not hospitable
