We were a family of 11 spanning across 3 generations. We found the property very spacious with plenty of room for all of us. The pool was great and there were plenty of restaurants and bars within a short distance. The property could do with a little bit of updating but we still highly recommend it for a great holiday experience.

Fantastic villa and immaculately clean. Great location just a short walk to the beach and amenities. We all used to live in the area and this villa was perfect for villa life, beach life and close enough to enjoy La Cala De Mijas.

We spanned 4 generations and found the house very suitable for our needs. We made great use of the heated pool, terraces and barbecue area. It was lovely to have the pool table too. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the local arrangements all went smoothly. I would strongly recommend for families with young kids and teenagers. Fine for older people too, as long as they’re okay with steps.

Villa was perfect for our family holiday. Our party of 6 adults and 5 children (aged between 10 weeks and 11 years) enjoyed the local area, facilities, entertainment (TV with large range of channels, pool, table tennis and football tables). The swimming pool which we had heated, became the centre piece of our holiday. We did walk (10 mins) to the beach and restaurants on a couple of occasions but we enjoyed dinners on the patio area in the evenings, overlooking the lovely gardens. All the equipment worked as you would expect and we always knew the management (Emma) were close by if we needed anything. The villa was everything we expected and we are planning our next visit.

The villa was spacious, well equipped for adults and a baby. The outside terraces were perfect for us as was the pool. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. It was a great place for a family holiday of 8 adults and a baby. Lovely place. No problems at all. Check in and out was stress free.

We are one family- six adults and four children- spanning three generations! The Villa was superb for our requirements- many precious memories made! It is welcoming and lovely inside.We also felt very safe and secure there.There was plenty space for us all and we enjoyed using the three lovely terraces. The garden is magnificent and beautifully lit up at night. The pool is immaculate and because we had it heated, we were able to use it a lot- the heating was particularly beneficial for the young children. The beach and promenade were a short walk away and there were plenty of facilities. We found the bakery (coffee shop) and would highly recommend it! We all hope we can revisit this super house in the future.

Everything about the villa was as stated in the advert. The check in / out was faultless and efficient. The pool was fabulous and there was everything supplied to keep the children and the adults happy. So many good things to say about our family holiday and not enough space to put it. Would most certainly recommend staying here.

Villa is lovely, it’s up a small hill which is useful to know. We had a few minor issues which were actioned promptly. Beach is close and there are a number of restaurants nearby. We didn’t use the tennis courts but had a key in case we wanted to. Guy the owner is more than helpful and Emma the manager was available as we needed. She left us a nice welcome pack !

The whole process has been smooth, from booking almost 3 years ago, changing dates due to covid x 2 and being greeted at the property by Emma, who provided a great service. Guy and Aurelia, the owners were equally helpful. Our party consisted of 11 at its peak but ranged from an initial 6, who were celebrating the wedding of my son. If I am being picky, when 11 were in the property, with 4 children, the bedroom arrangement was tight, but manageable. A great villa as described with lovely garden, great pool and lots of shade and air con when needed. Thanks.

We booked this villa after scrolling through endless properties, trying to find the one that suits our 'family' needs. We have 4 grandchildren, aged 9 x2, 5 and 3. There were 8 adults ranging from 38 to 82! The villa was perfect! We all loved the beautiful pool, the garden is stunning, the views from the upstairs bedroom and terrace are stunning. The villa very strangely felt like home, we all felt very comfortable indeed. Location is also 5 ☆ We did have a couple of small issues but were very efficiently sorted with the very approachable owner Guy and the very helpful Emma, who manages the villa. Both couldn't have been more helpful! The reason we wanted a villa of this size was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday, needless to say she loved every single minute of our weeks stay and even got delivered by Emma, a bottle of bubbles and some chocolates for her birthday! What a lovely personal touch. I would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to 'Villa Aurelia' and have since spoken to the owner telling him exactly that!! Thank you once again Guy, Aurelia and Emma, you made Debbie's 60th birthday, one we will all never forget!

We loved this villa which has plenty of character and the most beautiful gardens. The grandchildren just loved the pool and the location is perfect with the beach so close. The owners Guy & Aurelia were most helpful in every way.

A spacious house with a big and well-tended garden. Nice pool and a great location near the sea and shopping facilities. There are a lot of possible tourist attractions nearby.

The experience from start to finish was great. Guy and Aurelia were very flexible and accommodating. All the rooms are spacious and well decorated with bedrooms all with air conditioning. The different areas including the upper terrace, Barbie area, pool table and table tennis meant we were all well entertained. We spent lots of time in and around the swimming pool, the kids loved it. The garden and views are delightful. The beach, restaurants and decent shop are little more than 5 mins walk away. The beach is nice. Food and drink in the restaurants on the beach were delicious and good value. The locals were very friendly. We really could not find anything to improve or wish for more. An amazing, relaxing holiday.

This was a delayed holiday from last summer, but well worth the wait! We were a family group - grandparents, parents and five year old boy. The villa was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room everywhere, and interestingly furnished. The large garden is attractive, secure and well maintained. But we spent most of the time in and around the fantastic pool. There are small restaurants a short walk from the villa, and lots more in the town a short taxi ride away. But we mainly used the barbecue and ate on the terrace by the garden. And there is a good beach a short walk away. The local manager and owner were very helpful. We would definitely like to visit again.

Outside of an issue with the internet for most of our stay, everything about the villa was practically perfect. We had four generations staying together, and inside there were great living areas for us to be together, but also plenty of space for alone time. Outside the multiple patios and swimming pool were spectacular and the weather cooperated for us to get full use of them. We are already talking about coming back next year.

Gorgeous Villa in an excellent location close to the beach and the town with loads of space to spread out and lots of dining solutions. The pool table was used every day by all 9 of us. We loved the BBQ and did most of our meals on it. The surrounding area is beautiful with loads of different activities for all ages. There were a couple of minor issues which were sorted in under 24 hours so excellent support from the local team. I would highly recommend this villa. We had an excellent holiday. Thank you.

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday at Villa Aurelia which included 3 generations. My husband and I had our 3 year old and 5 month old baby and we all stayed in the master bedroom together with plenty of room to still move around. Everything was so easy when it came to Villa Aurelia. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the lovely El Bombo beach which had a couple of beach restaurants and bars, and just before the beach is a handy supermarket as well as a few more restaurants and bars. We highly recommend The Blue Marlin – the food and wine were delicious! Pura Asia which is a little bit further also provided delicious Thai and Chinese food. However, the BBQ and kitchen facilities at Villa Aurelia meant that we ate in the majority of the time especially as it was so easy to buy everything you needed from the big supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl & Macedonia) close by. We travelled into Marbella and Puerto Benaus by bus which again was easy and cheap, however the local taxi service was very efficient, and we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a taxi after calling. We used the transfer company recommended by Guy to transfer us to and from Malaga airport. We were looking for a villa which didn’t require us to hire a car and this villa ticked the box. The swimming pool was used every day and with the option to have it heated meant the children loved being in it. The villa was also very private with the pool totally secluded. It also helped having a fence and gate to shut the pool off from the seating area outside so we could contain our 3 year old when needed! It was a lovely relaxing holiday with every evening spent outside playing cards. Emma was very welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions and Guy and Aurelia responded to any queries quickly. We hope to return for another lovely holiday in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Aurelia. The house was clean, had everything we needed and a great location. It was only a short walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the house!

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 generation family holiday at the villa Aurelia. The owner, Guy, promptly answered all our queries before and after booking including recommending the mini bus transfer company as we did not want to bother hiring cars. For us a big bonus was not requiring transport once at the resort. The villa is close to the beach, a small supermarket and several restaurants so has an ideal location. The villa itself is ideal for a large group of friends or family as there is so much space both inside and out and is absolutely spotless. Everything you could need is there. We all loved the pool and bbq so had a great mix of beach / pool bbq and eating out. It took us about a 20-25 mins leisurely walk to the centre of La Cala de Mijas but that was with 4 children five and under. It is a lovely family resort. Emma, Guys representative at the resort met us at the villa on arrival and was very helpful with any questions along with supplying a lovely welcome pack of food and drink. This was really appreciated. I’m not going to describe the villa in any more detail except it exceeded expectations I would like to thank Guy and his family for the fabulous memories we’ll always have, our grand children are already asking when we can go back to our holiday home !!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Transfers by minibus, as recommended by Guy, were excellent. The villa is situated in a quiet, peaceful area a short distance from the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Inside there is everything you could want or need and all spotlessly clean. With 3 children aged 1, 2 and 4, we were delighted to have the stair gates, bed guard and travel cot. Very child friendly. Extremely comfortable beds and AC in bedrooms was very welcome. The decor throughout is very tasteful and interesting which I think reflects the personalities of the owners, Guy and Aurelia! Views from the upper terrace are really lovely of the sea and gorgeous garden, which is beautifully lite at night. Absolutely magical! The pool is magnificent, very private and is heated to the perfect temperature. We spent most of our time there and the children just loved it. There is a light in the pool which we used for evening swims. Outside eating and barbecue was great fun. Teresa was lovely, very friendly and helpful and thanks to Alberto for his assistance. This villa exceeded our expectations and was magnificent beyond our dreams! We would like to thank Guy and Aurelia, who were always only a phone call away, for sharing their wonderful home with us. Special memories of a very happy, happy holiday. Merci beaucoup tous les deux.
