Facilities and the pool area. Located close to all restaurants, bars cafes etc.
Loved the balcony and view from the third floor. You have to ask for the top floor when booking otherwise you could be on the first floor without much of a view.

Bed was comfortable. Nice outlook. Pool and spa good.
Furniture old and tired. Big rip in the material bed head. Mold in shower recess. Huge scratches in the floor no milk or cold water in fridge. Expected more for my money. Not worth $489 per night.

The Boathouse apartments were close to the main street and ferry wharf in Airlie so a hire car was not necessary.
some screens on some windows would have been great to keep out the mosquitoes

Location was perfect. Being so close to the town centre you can walk everywhere, to restaurants, shops, and Woolworths. Stunning views of the Marina too.

location was great as it is situated on the flat part of Airlie.
Quite a bit of noice in the morning as it was a meeting place for tour groups.

the pool and spa were lovely and we used them most days especially love the times of use for the pool , the staff we had dealings with were all lovely and they arranged for something to be put on the bed unfortunately it made very little difference
The Bed was horrendous I have never had such a terrible mattress our apartment was not clean there was long dark hair on the floor not ours, the sink was leaking inside the cupboard and that made the cupboard smell and the washer dryer was filthy

pool area is lovely. outlook is fantastic. position is excellent
the bathrooms did not have exhaust fans but that’s about it.

The location was a massive contributor, we hadn't been to Airlie Beach before and the views were amazing. When we had no day trips organised, we were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops. The grounds and maintenance were immaculate, and all the staff were happy and very friendly.
Lucky for us we had a beautiful breeze all through the apartment as the air conditioning wasn't working, but the management had pre told us of this and they had supplied a very good portable unit. Also, there was no free wi fi, which wasn't really a problem for us.

Apartment was lovely with big balcony, big kitchen and 2 bedrooms both with ensuite. Great accomodation and windows that opened so didn’t always need to use air conditioning. Could get good air cross flow using shutters. Clever design.

Location
The Air-Conditioning in the room wasn’t working. We have an 8 Month old who had fevers over the weekend and we could not cool the apartment down during the hot days or control the temperature at night. We were in Airlie Beach for a wedding and were sweating whilst getting ready in the room. Ridiculous. Staff were notified and told us they were aware of the issue with air conditioning and that it wouldn’t be rectified until the following week. We weren’t offered changing to a room with working facilities so had to tolerate the heat during the day.
