The property is absolutely beautiful. Our condo was spotless and very spacious. We had a wonderful time.

Stayed at this lovely condo with my daughter and granddaughter(age 2). The condo was decorated nicely, updated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Resort property was very nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Only disappointment was that the pool heater was not working, and the pool water was too cold for us to get in.

We love Chatola and this condo was perfect. Super clean, very well kept, location is perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

We love Chetola and have stayed at other great units. This was a Wonderful first floor location- we could walk out the back door and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Large bathrooms and clean. Nice decor and stocked kitchen.

Well appointed, wonderfully decorated for the Christmas holiday, and probably the cleanest VRBO place I have stayed! We love Chetola and this unit was fabulous. We did have an issue with the water, but the rental agency was very responsive and we couldn’t have asked for better service!

We have stayed at Chetola off and on for about 20 years. One of the nicest places we have stayed in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cardinal 101. Check-in was easy and the condo was spotless. We love staying at Chetola for the lake, indoor pool, spa, restaurant, and access to Moses Cone and downtown Blowing Rock. As always Blue Ridge Mountain does a great job of communicating with you prior to your stay.

This unit had everything you need. Nicely decorated and offered something for everyone. 30 minutes to most winter attractions.

Cardinal 101- we did not end up staying in this condo. This condo was listed on Expedia through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.When we arrived at Cardinal 101 thirty minutes past check in time we first realized it was not accessible. The stairwell leading down to the condo was under construction. The only way to get to the front door was to walk through the mud behind the air conditioning units. Once we made our way through the mud we opened the door to find the condo was not clean, the beds were stripped, and all of the bedding was thrown on the floor. We called the rental company and they suggested the condo would be ready at 6pm. This was unacceptable. No mention of the construction on the listing. My parents were with us and are elderly. They could not walk through the mud to get to the front door. We ended up leaving and had to call the rental company many times to explain and ask for a refund. It was a nightmare.

The condo had everything you needed for a family staying there. We loved having a washer and dryer, TVs in both bedrooms. It was a 2 minute ride to downtown Blowing Rock and could have even walked if it there wasn’t snow and ice on the sidewalk outside of the Chetola Resort. Chetola did a great job at keeping the roads clear to access our place.

We really enjoyed our visit and the condo. It was amazing.

This is most likely the nicest, cleanest vacation property we have ever been to. Tastefully decorated and immaculately maintained. The location is very convenient to the lodge and downtown Blowing Rock. Great dining everywhere we went. We'll definitely be back and hope this same unit is available.

Very comfortable condo with a well stocked kitchen. Wishing it had a real fire place as opposed to gas. Heat made some rattling sound when it came on. Great location within Chetola.

My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!! We are two older couples enjoying a quick weekend getaway and this property was perfect for us. The condo is more spacious than most and the furnishings were not only attractive, but also very comfortable. Chetola is a lovely, friendly resort that is conveniently located close to the town center. Check in/out was a breeze. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back.

This property was equipped like you were visiting someone's home. Furniture, rugs, flooring and accessories were beautiful. Kitchen was small but nicely equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious as well as closets. Good TVs. I would highly recommend. We love Chetola and all of the amenities in the community!

The property was perfect for me and my husband. We were there to celebrate his birthday and we had a wonderful time. It was our first vrbo experience and it went very smoothly.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Cardinal 101. The condo was very well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable; it was very nice to have two king size beds and a sleeper sofa. The location of the condo was perfect - away from the main traffic but walkable to everything. Thanks for the little extras that made the stay more comfortable. We had a great trip!

We loved staying here for a wedding weekend. The condo was much bigger than we were expecting and it couldn't be a more convenient location while still being so quiet.

The home had been recently redone with great mattresses and kitchen. Tv's in each room, roomy dining and living space.would have liked a recliner and more reading light in living area for evenings. When spending longer visits, we older folks like to nest in😊 thanks for the memories!

We stay at Chetola every year. This was our first time staying at your property, and we had a lovely time. The condo was clean and updated/new/stylish. We have 7 year old twins (you may have found a fruit loop or two on the floor), and they LOVED having their own room and patio. Perfect location to play tennis. They kayaked and fished at least once a day too. They even visited Max and Rosie (the names they assigned the swans years ago) and were delighted to meet the newest members of the swan family. The icing on the cake was your beautiful condo. Thank you for opening your home to us. We had a wonderful holiday! The Ajello Family

We really had a wonderful time and the facilities were just great. However, we were not warned that was no parking on the living level and there were outside staircases involved. For older people with weak knees lugging heavy suitcases it was not an ideal situation. The second issue was that we only discovered the white folder containing all pertinent information about TVs, heat, ac, etc. the day before we left as it was propped against a wall on the kitchen counter. Displaying the folder in a more prominent place, like the dining room table, would have been very helpful. Otherwise all was great! Thanks for a very enjoyable stay! Ackermans and Mathais'

Loved the location in Chetola and the condo!

Chetola is a lovely property. This was our first stay at the resort. Grounds were beautiful, well kept.Close to everything!!! We walked to town and to Bass Lake. Lunch at resort was delicious. Are panning on returning next year.l

Great place, in a great city

The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated. It was also very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. And the condo was very clean, which is critical to me. There were adequate blankets and pillows which is important in the cold climate. The attention to details, both in decor and equipment makes this a property I will likely rent again and definitely recommend to others. The only small detail that I think can be improved upon is the one towel/guest. To me the properties that are best, have extras like more towels (for hair for example). Knowing that in advance allowed me to bring my own. This is still definitely one of the nicer properties I have rented.
