The location of this hotel is quite unique...it was an adventure in itself to finally arrive within the limits of the beautiful seaside village and if we hadn't had Google Maps I'm not sure we would have found it... The hotel is beautifully set right on the main street of Veules and has been masterfully restored. The outside grounds have an impressive array of gardens, terraces, and verandahs. I booked the duplex room and in retrospect I should've booked a larger room as I found the main living area to be small. There are steep steps which lead up to the attic where the bed is. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel, comfortable bed.

No shampoo provided. Old soap was left in the shower. When asked if they could help us make a reservation for a restaurant in town, they said no, the restaurants don’t take reservations after covid, but when we went to the restaurant more than half the tables had reservations, and other hotels mentioned booking by reservation. Booking.com said our room would have a shared terrace but we did not get one, so not sure if the hotel or the site was at fault for that.

Charming hotel, good position very comfortable quiet room. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff who gave us instructions for entry into our room following our late arrival due to problems at the channel crossing.

localisation in the village

we got a family room for 3 persons: - there were only 2 seats within the room - the bed for the third person is quite narrow. for our teenager that was ok but for some adult that could be small

Location is just perfect. Breakfast is basic French stile but you can really enjoy it.

We could only check in at 15.00 which was quite late.

Full of charm and character with friendly staff and a lovely fresh breakfast. The location in the centre of the village was perfect too.

We should have stayed longer!
