Amazing location and brilliantly appointed hotel with a gorgeous pool with the most amazing mountain views. We loved staying here. There is also a restaurant onsite and the food is awesome. Dad grills / mum cooks. Lovely breakfast too. We loved the town and didn’t hire a car but just walked in the mountains. We really enjoyed the 4 nights we spent here and would return.

We didn’t book a studio but a double room which was my mistake!

a bit dark because the only light is on the road side and we didn’t want to always have the curtains open. Would recommend booking a pool view/access room.

This is a friendly family-run hotel in a superb location. We were their first guests of the season and sadly the weather was too cold for us to use their beautiful pool and outside facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean.

The location at the edge of the village and the view from the pool terrace. Ideal for accessing a wine tasting locally. Ideal for walking up the mountain.

We asked to leave our suitcases in the luggage store when we checked out. We were told to leave them in front of the reception desk, we returned 7 hours later to collect them. The suitcases were where we had left them and there was no one at reception. Our belongings were intact but it didn't feel safe or respectful

all was perfect. the brekfast very tasty. feel like home. the pool very nice . and the room was a balcony with a wonderfull view !

i needed parking and it only has 4 spots to park. when we arrive it was full so we park 100 mts from the hotel. dont big issue . but just to let you know.

It is a lovely hotel in a nice and quiet little town. But they have a very good restaurant of their own and there are others close by. The pool is very nice and there is a nice sitting area around it, with a good bar, with very good drinks!

Superb location sorrounded by olive trees and mountains. The swimming pool is outstanding, clean and well looked after, with incredible views of the sea and the moutaims. But the best thing is the wonderful family who owns and runs this amazing little property: they were welcoming, warm, flexible and patient with our children. All the lovely and tasty food is home made by the mother with local produce. The property was spotless clean. The charming little town of Embonas is just a 2 minutes walk from the hotel and well worth a visit, with its friendly tabernas and bakery and lovely shops selling wine and honey and olive oil. Closest beach is Kamiroa, 20 minutes drive from the hotel.

The place is quite with a view to the mountains. The hotel is not big and not so much peaple around. Good place to stay if you rent a bike or car. Good breakfast. Fresh fruits. Nice owners.

We loved our stay in Ataviros hotel. Emponas is ideally located to visit the center and south of Rodos, away from the highly touristic parts of the area. Ataviros is a typical Greek hotel, with an amazing pool and a very nice staff. The pool and pool bar are open in the evening, which is nice & convenient.

We didn't try the breakfast, which is quite expensive by Greek standards.

Ataviros is a lovely family hotel with a beautiful view and a nice swimming pool. I was looking for a quiet place in Rhodes and Embonas met my expectation. FIY a car is necessary to move around and discover the region. We loved our stay and hopefully will come back one day.

There was a problem with the air conditioner, but it was resolved by the manager.

The hotel location is ideal, a stunning sun set and near the town "very short walk". The family who the run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The gardens around the pool are lovely and in general the whole place is kept exceptionally clean.

The shower head wasn't very good and leaked in all directions, you could still shower, but it just wasn't efficient. Before arriving, I had asked one of the members of staff by email if they had any tips on eating in town, the response was very much of self promotion and eating at the hotel.

The location was great - the only hotel in a quiet little village. The owners were really lovely and seemed to be working all day and night. Room was spacious and cozy.

This is a lovely place. I've read some bad reviews, and people need to adjust their expectations. It's not a five star resort. It's not marketed as such, and not priced as such. Breakfast is home made and lovely. View of the sunset from the restaurant is priceless. The stifado is one of the best I've had, and there is (obviously) a good selection of local wines. Our room was at ground level, spacious, naturally cool, and clean. Bed was excellent.

Nothing really to not like. As long as you have in mind that Embona is a small village, and you will need a car or taxi to get to and from.
