Location (in the city center). Nice room, comfortable bed. Private entrance (escaping bar which is noisy). Even though there is a bar downstairs, the room was quiet (no sound from bar).

My room was in the attic and bathroom there is not designed for tall people. You can't take a shower while standing. I arrived by train, so not sure, but I believe parking is problematic in the whole city center. No breakfast.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. They provided a refrigerator and an electric kettle, for which we thank you very much 🤗 We liked everything!

The restaurant waitstaff who handle check-ins are friendly and impressive multitaskers. The restaurant on the lower level serves excellent Czech food and beer, in both my opinion and that of and locals I consulted! My room seems to have been recently renovated (from the photos, it looks like a toss-up whether you'll get a new room or an old one). All surfaces were clean*. Altogether, it was a good-sized single room in a central location. A bit more attention to detail could make this accommodation truly excellent.

On the day I arrived, I was told the hot water pump/pressure (?) was broken, but that it would be fixed the next day. That first night, the water was indeed lukewarm. On the second night, post repairs, the water was only truly hot for 5 minutes, then quickly reverted to lukewarm like the first night. Not a dealbreaker, but worth keeping in mind so you can set your expectations accordingly. As a vibe check, the reading light by the bed was straight up missing its bulb. *In general the room felt "clean" but not "deep cleaned." E.g. the sheets and towels had obviously been sanitized (washed extra hot with bleach), but the mattress protector was not (I stripped the bed because I learned from other reviews that firmness can be adjusted by flipping the mattress). The carpet is very old and has probably never been deep-cleaned...I didn't feel comfortable walking on it barefoot from the shower. The shower looks new but the door leaks onto the bathroom floor. My biggest irk: Booking.com provides a rate "in the property's currency" in Euros...but you pay at the property in CZK. So, given the variable exchange rate, it's difficult to tell if you're paying the same rate as advertised. Or if you're actually getting your 10-15% Genius discount. For this reason, I would have preferred to pay online in advance: because we didn't speak the same language, I didn't want to bother the waitress to confirm this discount, as she was also busy in the restaurant while checking me in... The lights in the stairs/halls of the penzion are on a timer to save energy, but it's difficult to find the switches in the dark and I tripped on the steps a couple of times. In case the property reads this, it would be safer if these lights were controlled by motion detectors.

The location is perfect with free parking on the street, in front of the door.

The rooms are above the pub that closes around 10.30. Until that time the room was extremely noisy. The street is cobblestoned that cause noise when a cars goes by.

The car had to be parked 500 m away on an unwatched public parking lot. The menu in the restaurant was only in Czech. I had to consult Google translate to know what to eat.

The location of the pension is perfect. There is also a nice restaurant under downstairs where you can have a drink and some food and snacks. The restaurant staff helped me to check-in earlier than the scheduled time in the morning, which I should thank for, as I was quite tired that day. The sheets, carpets were clean and the room was quite comfortable. The bathroom is also very nice with all the necessary cleaning products to refresh and clean. The furniture is modern and nicely decorated. The beds were too soft and a bit uncomfortable, though, which I think such a nice place should have already improved in. The room price per night could also be a bit cheaper but the overall prices in the city are a also a bit higher than others.

Perfect location, nice stuff, clean and pretty cosy room.

Room will be perfect for one night but if you need to spend more time in the city there is not enough facilities. One small wardrobe for 4 people and not enough spaces if you need to hang up clothes clothes. There is no electric kettle in the room and basic crockery and so on.
