Perfect and beautiful place to visit the nearby sightseeings, incl. Santander. Lot's of high class (Michelin Stars) restaurants around. The hotel owner is very helpful for such experiences. Thanks to him for a late chack-in. Very friendly staff. We are looking forward for another chance to come again.

We waned to take a peach from the breakfast and the owner made a scene about that in front of all the other people. She pointed us an announcement written in Spanish. The thing is we don't speak Spanish.

lovely building and rooms were superb. Slept like a log! staff don’t speak English but we’re very friendly and welcoming.

It’s not easy to miss the entrance even though you can see the hotel from the main road. 10 minute walk into Town to find a restaurant.

Spa had no rails to assist entry

Gorgeous 17th century converted building. Great Spa facilities. Lovely breakfast. Close to the Santander ferry.

Nice place to stay just outside the town of Beranga. Welcoming staff who were all very patient with my attempts to speak Spanish. Room was spacious with a huge bathroom (I think it was an accessible room on the ground floor). Continental breakfast was good, again Google Translate came in handy. Large car park, hotel is signposted from the main road. Would happily stay here again.

The staff was very kind and nice to us all the time.

The location

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and a lot to choose from with breakfast. (nice cakes!) There was a lot of free parking space.

The pool could use a little renovation. Due to the COVID procedures we could not take from the breakfast buffet ourselves, instead the personnel had to serve us.

Not very welcoming! When I pulled up in the car park, I thought the people messing around in their car next to mine were other guests and we said hello. We took out our luggage and didn’t know where the reception was, but the “guests “ turned out to be the owners/managers! When we checked in and filled out the forms, the guy sprayed everything we had touched, pen, call bell, etc., with anti viral spray, before he even gave us our room key! Talk about made to feel embarrassed!! There is no bar there, and we felt embarrassed asking if we could get a beer, which he got from the kitchen. I asked for a red wine, no red wine! Breakfast was run by the gestapo, look but DO NOT TOUCH!! I won’t be staying here again, I thought the guy was rude! Do not recommend!!
