We had a wonderful time at Manta Raya. Its in a fantastic location off the beaten track on Salchi beach. Our room was huge with a balcony with table and chairs and hammock looking out to the beach - a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Matching and possibly exceeding the location was the service we received from the staff, particularly Fernanda who went out of her way to look after us including an unexpected dinner on the beach. The food was delicious with quality Vegan options provided for every meal, not just as an after thought. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was very basic and very little selection to choose from, but the coffee was outstanding. Location amazing and welcome by Reto was great.

The bed was very uncomfortable and small for two people. We we were on ground level Room #1, which we were aware of. But were only told when I asked for a quiet room and then found out our room was next to the kitchen.

I loved this place! It was recommended by someone and it was the perfect way to finish our vacation to Huatulco. It felt private, but we could walk to the little community nearby, or adjacent beaches. The staff were first class - friendly, helpful and it felt truly interested in making our stay perfect. The food was excellent. The beach in front of the Manta Raya is beautiful - we even saw turtle tracks on the beach. The ocean could get a bit rough, but my partner swam everyday. From the hammock on the deck, to the stunning location and welcoming atmosphere, I happily recommend the Manta Raya. It is off the beaten path though on Salchi Beach, so this isn't the place to be if you want to go downtown for shopping or nightlife. This is a beautiful little getaway spot!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. It is more secluded though - so be prepared for that.

Need signs once you get to dirt road- if arriving by taxi no problems.

the location - a piece of paradise! the staff were friendly and attentive. we miss Mancha, the sweet hotel dog, already. rooms were spacious and clean. the food was impressive with creative menus and fresh ingredients. appreciate the eco-conscious approach.

Previous guest reviews are accurate regarding the location, the staff, physical premises quiet enjoyment and beach facilities. All are excellent and the hotel provided a great platform for relaxation and enjoyment. In addition, the staff was knowledgeable about the area and helped plan activities. And have I talked about the food? Great.

We loved our stay at Manta Raya. Th property is beautiful and only 8 rooms so nice and small. The pool is lovely, food was great and the beach was gorgeous. It is definitely the nicest place to stay in Salchi.

Could use new sheets that are softer and less plastic feeling.
