It wasn't a pleasant stay. first of all was the issue of our dog. We got checked in - all seemed very pleasant. I had emailed ahead of time explaining we had a small dog with us. They then noticed the dog and said we hadn't booked it in (we had), and that also there was going to be charge of €30. In principle, this was okay, BUT they had not mentioned a charge anywhere -and we'd be staying in hotels for the past two weeks across Spain and France with either no charge for dogs or under €10. They were deeply unpleasant about it ,claiming it was explicitly written on booking.com what the price was. It wasn't. They eventually offered it for free. Next we go to our room -junior suite - it was nice, air con wasn't very good, half -drank bottles of water were in the fridge, empty plastic bottles under the bed, so not properly cleaned, which was a real shame -especially given the price. Room Service disappointing - menu pretty limited - we ordered a ceaser salad and asked them to remove the bacon (they didn't) ,and they brought us an extra dish we didn't order, and tried to charge us too. Parking was another €20 too.

Staff was great and responsive for extra requirements. Changed our room so that we could have a bathtub for the children. Very friendly and helpful.

The hotel needs to renovate and replace worn-out furniture. Also needs to do some deep cleaning of bathrooms and keep the common areas clean.

It’s so beautiful! Breakfast is amazing, and everyone there was very accommodating.

Breakfast was the only meal served. You could get room service, and we did, but we could not get full meals at the time which was a bit inconvenient.
