The coffee machine was good but it would be helpful to have a kettle also as the water tank kept having to be filled up. The dining area and seating area were comfortable. It was good to have a sink in the room.

This was the only place we stayed in out of 7 in Iceland that didn't send check-in information before we arrived. I wasn't sure what the check-in process was so I emailed them on Booking.com in the morning but there was no response, so I called them and then they said there's a reception desk. They really should just send this information to people in advance. The room was extremely cold, the window was wide open which we then realised was to try and cover the extremely strong smell of mustiness, which got stronger the longer we were there as we had to keep the window closed because the radiator was so weak and it was cold. The kitchen was tiny, ridiculous given the number of rooms, and it was completely taken over by a Spanish guy cooking for a group of people and an Asian woman cooking for a huge group. Luckily we had brought microwavable food that we were able to heat up. in a microwave outside the cooking area. There were far too few bathrooms and toilets for so many rooms and there seemed to be a system going on among the French group in the rooms next to us because as soon as one was finished in the bathroom the next person went in. We frequently had to walk to the other end of the building to shower or use the toilet and in that far bathroom there was a big sign saying not to leave water on the floor but there was no mop to prevent water staying on the floor. This was the worst place we stayed in on our trip and ridiculously overpriced given the poor facilities.
