The hotel was set in a beautiful garden with swimming pool. unfortunately it was too cold to swim when we were there, but we appreciated very much that our room was heated although there were few guests due to the adverse weather. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The first night we had a room in the basement (No 105). It turned out to be next to the television room and below the kitchen. This meant only sleep between 23:30 and 6:30. We asked for another room and did receive one (it was clear the problem of this was well known to the staff). It remained however very noisy, no natural light during daytime and no view. Was very disappointing stay and don't understand the high rating others provided to this accommodation. When extended our stay in Pescasseroli we moved to another location in the city.

Location, food and very friendly. Absolutely outstanding hotel.

You can only enter the pool with a swimming cap. Room quite small (triple attic)

The incredibly friendly staff / owners made our stay such a positive one. The breakfast was exceptional. Bucaneve was indeed a good place to call “home” after a day hiking in the park. Comfortable bed, beautiful views from the terrace, and a location unlike any other. We didn’t want to leave (we almost didn’t).

The shower had good water pressure, plenty of hot water, and both a hand-held shower head and a large fixed “waterfall-type” shower head. Unfortunately, the waterfall-type dripped cold water when not in use. Yuck.
