Very nice appartement including all the comfort you need. The kitchen was very well equipped, the living room was spacious and cozy. The beds were good, and overall the appartement was very clean. The location is good if you want to go hiking in the Slovak Paradise. 20 minutes driving with the car to bring you to the interesting starting points of the walks. Also a trip to the Tatras is possible within a one hour drive. The hosts was very helpful to answer all our questions. Oh one more thing; the restaurant at 200 meters from the apartment is great !

Smizany has a lot of gypsies. Although we are used to travel around the globe and respect everyone, we didn't feel all the time very comfortable when we were going to the supermarket in the late evening. Once we got really annoyed by a group of young gypsies. I would advice to visit the supermarkets during daylight and peak hours.

- Exterior and inner garden of building overall (nice plants, table-tennis, rocking chair with blankets at common terrace that was good for drinking and talking). - Owner (or staff? didn't turn out) was friendly - Clean and organized stuff (compact room, everything has its place with good space usage) - Own parking lot, and lot of place in front of building as well

- Main gate would be much better, if a normal door was integrated within it. Opening this huge gate each time when leaving the place was strange and if it gets stuck we can't get out. This was our feeling and this is the only reason I mention this. If gate stucks, no guest knows the way out I suppose. - Location of TV (next to bed, not in front of it or hanging from ceiling or etc... just not next to it) - Very loud toilet door and light switch (couldn't get in, in the middle of the evening without waking my partner up) These are just small things, meant for the owners if they wanted to improve something.

Lovely clean room that was very well equipped for a self-sufficient stay. The garden was also nice and very well maintained with a garden house, table tennis table and dartboard. Location is convenient for access to Slovakia paradise national park by foot or with car, Spisske Nova Ves is also just a 3 minute train ride away which gives access to Levoca, Spis castle and Poprad by bus/train. Owners also very nice and helpful.

The property is comfortable, cosy and beautiful. Fully equiped kitchen, washing machine, the quality of WiFi was very good.
