Maria is a wonderful host and did everything in her power to make our stay wonderful.

We had a wonderful time staying in Maria’s cave house with beautiful views of the caldera and Oia. It was perfect for 3 of us on a girls trip. The location was amazing - so central to all of the activities in the town. I would highly recommend this house.

Blissfully relaxing. Maria made sure everything was perfect for our arrival, stay, and departure; and Mustafa was very helpful on a daily basis and with helping with discharge. The unit was very comfortable and quiet—it made our stay in Oia memorable.

What a wonderful girls trip myself and my two daughters had. We spent 5 days in this location and love bed it. The building managers were phenomenal they helped us with everything including restaurant recommendations, island tours, catamaran tours. The village of Oia is beautiful and the service was fantastic. We felt absolutely safe and comfortable as three girls and Maria checked in on us everyday.

It is hard to know where to start with this review, especially since I have never written a review like this before. We booked this house after an extensive search. My two young kids were really excited about the hot tub, and my husband and I were excited to sit on the front porch to enjoy the view while the kids enjoyed the hot tub. We checked in and, to our dismay, the hot tub was taken apart - it clearly wasn’t going to be working during our stay. Nothing was communicated to us. I immediately called Maria (who said she was driving and would call me back - which was a theme during our stay). When she did, she claimed the hot tub had just had an issue the day before and that she had arranged for us to use the hot tub next door one day and a different one the next day. While we were glad to have a back up, neither of these were the ideal quiet stay at our own place with our kids. I also wanted to give Maria the benefit of the doubt that the issue just arose, but the lack of communication and numerous excuses throughout our short stay made me think otherwise. Not to mention, the patio was dirty, paint is peeling and Mis-matched, the bedding is uncomfortable and itchy. The place needs a lot of TLC, and the nightly rate is not worth anything near what they are charging. Maria offered us a small discount, but no where near what should have been offered to compensate us for all of the issues. Unless the place is sold to new ownership, I would not stay here.

We enjoyed the experience of living on the cliff side. We misunderstood the use of the key in the holder so we were confused about the power (it will go out after 2 minutes if you take it out). This seems to be a all of GREECE thing to conserve energy (and is a great idea) but being our first visit we were too naive to know that and too tired to catch the instructions after 27 hours of travel to retain it :-) Thanks for a GREAT stay.

If your looking for a traditional cave house this is wonderful. I delt with the manager for registration. I expected her to bring us in to property but it was a guy, he was very nice, didn't understand everything we had asked which was okay. We had asked the manager to have the hot tub hot before we arrived, we paid extra to have the hot tub for our 3 day stay because we were out of season, but it was cold when we arrived. The guy said it would take 4 to 5 hours it took 24 hours till it was hot. Minor but not super happy because I had asked ahead to make sure it would be hot. Another minor issue, we had no eggs and no milk but plenty of cereal ... went to corner store to purchase milk and eggs. Also it was booked for 3 people but the caretaker only had enough towels for 2 people, he did find 2 smaller towels to make it work. Again these are all minor things. This is why I gave 4 stars. Great view, with in walking to restaurants, mini markets, and stores.

We absolutely loved staying here, everything was perfect, the place has the exact charm you are looking for when staying in Greece! Everyone was so helpful, Maria was great with getting us all the details we needed and answering my 10000 questions! This place is a must stay!! The view is incredible and you are right in the heart of Oia!

Had a wonderful stay! Spectacular views and close to great restaurants. House is small, but very clean and comfortable. Lots of stairs to climb so be sure you are ready for that.

Our stay was amazing. The cave house was comfortable for 3 people. The location was magical you look right out to the Aegean. We had the most beautiful and relaxing time. We were steps from the most amazing restaurants and shops. Maria was so accommodating pre trip with her recommendations and during our trip when we needed help with transfers. She also had two wonderful young men Islam and Sunlil who helped us with every request with a smile. I would highly recommend this cave house and I cant' wait to come back

The Santorini Paradise property certainly lived up to the name. My wife and I found the property to be perfectly located along the caldera cliffs in Oia. Our host Maria, was incredibly helpful and responsive. The cave house provided a truly unique venue and we really enjoyed the way the house naturally maintains a comfortable temperature at both day and night. The house is compact, but the space is efficiently organized and very comfortable for two adults. The town of Oia is also a great location to use as the jump-off point for exploring Santorini. We found the public buses to be crowded but functional. The buses run frequently to Oia and can be used to connect to Fira, and by extension, the rest of the island. If you are visiting Santorini, I strongly recommend this property.

This fun cave house is right in the middle of everything, making it easy to get around. Maria was very helpful and even sent over some fresh fruit from her garden. The early mornings are stunning peaceful and quiet. Such an amazing way to wake up. Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cave house. It is very comfortable and just like the pictures on the listing. Views of the Caldera from the house are breathtaking. Maria was a pleasure to work with and brought us treats during the stay. I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Oia.

The house was amazing! The hospitality was great! The jacuzzi was incredible and the underground cave living room was the best touch of all! Maria and her staff were absolutely great, we will definitely be back!

This rental is in the best location in Oia and is beyond charming. Maria is so welcoming as is her staff. She provided us wine and extended an invitation to watch the most beautiful sunset in the world. We recommend this property 100%!

What can I tell you about this place and experience? I love, love, love this unit! The outdoor hot tub was perfect for sitting in at night with a full moon over the Caldera. Someone pinch me!! Three beds for three single ladies, so perfect. The tile in the bathroom just a wonderful touch. And you are in a CAVE house in Santorini, it just doesn't get better. But wait, it does....our host Maria was so wonderful to us, she really goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I wonderful basket of goodies and wine. The young men that handled our luggage were always on time, respectful and very, very sweet. I miss them all already and can't wait to go back. Book this place, you will be happy!!! Thank you Maria, you made my 60th birthday so special. I will never forget you!

We had a magical stay in Oia! Maria was always ready and willing to help. The property was filled with lovely food and snacks and a yummy bottle of wine. Check in/check out is a little chaotic for all the properties because of transferring to and from the airport. It was a beautiful stay!

I have to say Maria went over and above what any owner would have done! From the excellent communication to the transportation scheduling to the young man who helped us bring our bags up and down the hill. She thought of everything! There were so many things that we could have in the house that helped us get started like coffee wine and many many other things! The home itself is beautiful inside and out just like the pictures!! I wish I could live here full-time!!! If you are planning a trip to Santorini Greece I would highly recommend Maria’s place I have nothing bad to say at all!!! It was the trip of a lifetime and she made it very special!!! Thanks Maria!!!

Maria and Sherpan were very attentive to our every need. They checked on us on a daily basis. They kept us fully stocked with wine and snacks, even invited us to enjoy the fabulous sunsets from a private terrace away from the crowds. We definitely know where we are staying if we make it back.

Had a great stay and would highly recommend. Maria was an amazing host. Would recommend using the transportation service offered through the VRBO booking. Very convenient and makes things easy. Really appreciated all of the personal touches during our stay.

It was a wonderful location, excellent host who wrote us a list of places to visit based on our preferences. It was a lot of stairs but otherwise one of my favorite places EVER!!

We loved the wine room/cave in the villa, loved the hot tub at night overlooking the bay. Bed was super comfy, not far from the Sunset area and best bar in Santorini for the sunset. Enjoyed sitting out in the morning watching the sun rise. Just a great place to rest up for a few days or use as a base to see the island. thank you ! Maria called us when we arrived to tell us everything we needed, some fridge items but due to covid some were not allowed. Two bottles of wine waiting for us upon arrival. Great place !

The house was absolutely beautiful and all of the extra little touches she had for us made it so special. This has been a dream of mine for so many years and the location was exactly what I’ve been dreaming of all of these years. I hope everyone who stays there will please take care of the little family of kittens in the area. They loved late night cans of sardines. I wanted so bad to bring them home with me.

Maria is a truly amazing host who provided so much to our group of 3! She is kind and a great communicator. We had everything we needed and more! The service was wonderful. The best part about the house was it’s pool on the balcony. Oia can get pretty hot during the day so it was nice to have the pool to hop in and cool down. Plus it had a beautiful view of the ocean. The house is a short walk to the old castle where you can see the sunset. There are also great restaurants near by. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations and when we come back to Oia, we will stay with Maria again!
