Water both kitchen and bath dangerously hot. Mattress in bedroom unbearably uncomfortable, needed to sleep in car for 3 of the 5 nights. Pillows mushy. Pictures portrayed a cabin in wilderness, but nearby highway prevented hearing birds and quiet nature. Owner was kind to offer to move to quieter location, but would've had to have checked out earlier than planned.

This cabin was paradise! Our goal was to get away from everyday hustle and bustle of work and responsibilities. This rental made it a success. We will definitely be returning. Very clean, peaceful, and comfortable for an easy restful getaway.

This property was a perfect one. The location was close to civilization, but it was our own private oasis on the mountain. The views were amazing, the cabin new and clean. They had everything we needed and/or forgot to bring with us stocked in the cabin. Morning coffee on the porch or in the chair in the living room was awesome. The road up was easily navigated with my AWD, but I didn’t feel like I needed it necessarily. Owners were responsive and communicated well! Would certainly come back here without hesitation.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Great views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The location is perfect- secluded enough to feel in the woods, while still being close to everything. The owners were quick to resolve an issue that a massive storm caused. Highly recommend!

It was very convenient to Sylva and the Smoky Mountains. Our 4WD made the road up much easier. The views were amazing and we loved having our dinner on the covered front porch. We didn’t make a fire but loved the fire pit area. It was very clean and private. Only negative is there is a bit of road noise. That may not bother many but we live near road noise and were hoping to get away from it. Still- I would recommend this property.

Cute cabin, everything was nice and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The firepit out back was nice, we enjoyed the views; very relaxing and quiet. Great place to unwind. Short distance to multiple local fishing sites.

Charming; small and quaint.

This was the most adorable little cabin. Everything fit our needs so nicely. This was a short hiking trip before heading over to family for the Thanksgiving holiday, and the cabin had everything we needed for the few days we were visiting. The place is not exactly isolated but it absolutely felt like it was. It was so quiet and peaceful, and though you can see the highway from the deck, it wasn't loud. There's a great view of the surrounding mountains, and the private drive was awesome. We always love staying up in the mountains and this was perfect. I felt there were two tiny design flaws in the cabin, both of which could be easily fixed. There's a shelf above the sink in the bathroom that really hindered the sink's use. Not a huge deal but quite annoying, lol. I feel it would have been better suited over the toilet or even to the side of the sink rather than directly above it. The second is the wall separating the living room and bedroom isn't a complete wall to the ceiling, and as such, the tv noise is very loud in the bedroom. Again more of an annoyance than a negative towards the cabin -- neither is a negative towards the overall stay. We enjoyed this stay, and if we ever find ourselves in this area again, we'd definitely look here first.

We loved the Altitude Adjustment cabin! It was perfect for our family of four! The cain was clean, cozy and comfortable while being conveniently located to downtown Bryson City. We enjoyed taking our kiddos on the Polar Express one evening, then hiking to 3 gorgeous waterfalls the following day. We can't wait to come back!

What a wonderful cabin! We found the location without any problems, and the cabin exceeded our expectations! Everything you will need for an amazing stay! We will be spending a lot of time in the area for the next 4 years, and Altitude Adjustment will definitely be a regular for us!

This cabin was gorgeous and perfect. The view was incredible and it had plenty of room for the dog crates and in the yard for them to do their business. We did have issues getting up the hill in one specific spot as the gravel was quite lose but we got new tires and it helped a lot but was still a little bit of a struggle in that spot. Over all a wonder place that we would love to stay at again if we had the opportunity.

The cabin is so clean and well taken care of by the owner. The views are breath taking. We stayed at the end of Oct and first of Nov the fall foliage was beautiful. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin!! Teri&Trudy

Our stay at this place was absolutely perfect! It is the ideal place to get away and spend time nestled in the mountains. The cabin is so clean and cute and had everything we could need! We’re so thankful to have found this place and look forward to coming back one day!

This newer property offered a nice rustic feel with lots of kitchen utilities and spices. DVD's, games, 2 TV's, & Internet - nicely available. Temperature was comfortable, good water pressure. Great location! Gorgeous views! Only bad thing was deep, ruddy holes at top of road before making turn toward property. Loved this place.

Nice little cabin for 2-3 people. Close to highway so traffic noise heard. Great views! Close to Cherokee and Great Smoky Mtn Nat'l Park.

Very serene. Able to enjoy all the area has to offer including a very fun trip on the Bryson City Moonshine train excursion!

It was so relaxing and peaceful in this beautiful cabin nestled on a mountain side. It was clean and homey, offering all the necessities needed for a home away from home. The view of the mountains could be enjoyed from inside or outside. Chuck and Sandy were quick to respond if we had any questions. We hope to visit again soon. We would definitely recommend visiting for your next getaway.

Found this gem for a weekend get-away with my husband. It was centrally located for easy access to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Waynesville. We enjoyed exploring the areas and were never too far from the property. The pictures are 100% accurate! The sunsets can be viewed from the deck or fire pit. My favorite was seeing all the stars once the sun went down! Highly recommend staying here. The place was clean and had all the essentials we needed. The gravel road up to the property can be a bit tricky, our CRV did just fine and we took it slow. There is road noise at this location, but it did not prevent us from enjoying the beautiful sounds of nature or the gorgeous views!

No hiking trails for us or the dogs. Had to drive 6 miles just to have a place to walk the. Place could use screes on windows and sliding doors, and a shade on the kitchen window.

This was perfect for my son, our small dog and I. Close enough to town, but also far enough away to enjoy the secluded mountain side. We had a great 3 day stay.

Everything about our stay here was perfect! The views could not be matched, and we absolutely did not want to leave this slice of heaven! Could not have been happier with our stay, check in and out were super easy, and there were such thoughtful, helpful touches around the cabin. From the furnished kitchen, to the extra s’mores sticks we felt so welcomed. Can’t wait for a return visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is situated in a great location, near Sylva, Bryson City, and Cherokee. Great hiking and restaurants all within a 15-20 minute drive. The cabin is well appointed and very clean; we had everything we needed for the long weekend. We had no issues navigating the gravel road up to the cabin in our Honda Accord, even in the rain or at night.
