the pool are and the bar was excellent, clean, the food was really good and the staff friendly and great. The manager/owner was very friendly and put us at ease. The area itself was lovely and clean.

Although it says apartments are not in the pool area, we were unaware it was across a road and then some, no not anywhere near at all, the view was lovely though although noisy a little, it would have been courteous to have a welcome pack of basics for the kitchen and bathroom and maybe a pool towel or more drying towels. i did request a bottom floor a my friend has mobility issues but we did have to go up one floor with stairs which is difficult with luggage. The area is hilly too

The Master bedroom and lounge had fabulous views of the pool and sea. The apartment is very well furnished. We arrived later than expected and the hotel staff waited an extra hour for us to check-in which was really appreciated. The pool area is brilliant. Supervision of large beds was excellent. The CAFE with drink and food facilities during the daytime was an added bonus.

There are a few small faults with the apartment. The shutters in the second bedroom didn’t work. A couple of the cushion covers in the lounge could have done with a wash. These are very minor points. And did not impact our stay at all

We booked an apartment with a Seaview. The apartment was spacious and had a huge balcony. It was equipped with Dishwasher, Washing machine, a good sized kitchen, TV, Sound system and also a huge balcony where you can grill. The beach is a 8 minutes walk from the apartment. The only problem we had was the lack of Wifi

Right next to our apartment there was a huge building site with ongoing building noise the entire day from 8 am til 6 pm all weekdays. This was not mentioned on the booking.com site. Right at our arrival we told the staff that we wanted to move out since we didn’t want this noise on our holiday vacation. The hotel would not let us get a refund of the money or just let us pay for the first night of our stay and then move out the next day. And we could not get an apartment further away on the ressort since everything was booked. And booking.com was of absolutely no help in this proces. So we had to stay there for 7 nights with no possibility to sit peacefully at our balcony. That is totally NOT acceptable not to inform guests of this noise issue in advance, so people can decide weather or not they want to spend their summer holiday in building noise……

The location is great, the apartment is spacious and well equipped. loved the access to the swimming pool.

it’s important to know that there is no WiFi - only at the pool and that is quite a distance from the house.

lovely area. we felt safe on the second floor and access to pool, beach and long walks and bars was great. nice balcony.

no safe. back door didn’t lock and tv didn’t work. nothing fixed while we were there. no towels provided. or washing up liquid or toilet roll. I would have paid more to have that all in place on arrival.

Pool is huge, clean and has "hemelbedden", ocean view, Luz is beautiful, apartment was close to a great supermarket. The partment was very spacious and everything that we could have wanted was there

Nothing. We were sold as per images and text) a resort like accommodation with swimming pools and restaurant on the resort. Instead it was an apartment (which we had to get in our car for) in the public municipal area. Not suitable for family’s if you want your kids to wander around safely on the resort. Was a complete mis-sell and we are still pursuing our refund as we rejected the apartment on arrival for reasons stated above. I’d shop elsewhere if you have children. I’ll be putting a video of this on you tube and sharing the link on tripadvisor etc.

The manager is a real nightmare and hard to deal with. However the staff at the hotel was incredibly nice and accommodating.

Really pleasantly surprised. Great location. Apartment was large and really clean. Smart TV. Huge master bedroom with ensuite. We were also given a pass to access all areas including the Garden Club with pool and tapas bar. Would go again (and probably will).

The only remotely negative thing I could say is that it took us 10 mins to figure out how the key worked properly to open the front door, but that was nothing. Oh and the WiFi is an extra charge.

Went every Morning to the Baptista which was excellent toast and excellent coffee
