We normally stay at another place and always wanted to stay near Castaway Cafe. It was well worth the change... this place is peaceful quiet ocean front has the great castaway cafe for dining and we just looooooooooove the gardens. The unit is perfection with the upstairs bedroom.... a proper condo! Cant be beat really

We have stayed at MKV many times. We love this property and have stayed in several units. This was a great unit for my husband and I. Photos well represented the unit. Close to the pool, beach and Castaways restaurant - looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful vacation. The condo is just as advertised and all the amenities were just as we needed them to be from the comfortable bed to the stocked kitchen to the beach chairs and then there is the view from the lanai. The view is to die for! Eating breakfast while gazing at the ocean is heavenly. Thanks to the Nelsons for a great holiday stay!

We had a fantastic view and location. The patio overlooked the pool and provided a great view of the ocean. This was an ideal spot for spending the week in Maui. The inside was a little tired, but who spends their vacation inside?

We have stayed at this property many, many times but this condo is one of the nicest of all and in a perfect location in the resort. Fantastic communication from George! The condo was equipped with everything one could need on vacation. We hope we have the opportunity to rent this wonderful place again in the future. Maui no ka oi!!

Very nice room overlooking the pool with ocean views

This was my first time taking my daughter to the island and the condo made it perfect.

This property has just one bed. The owner George knew I was coming with my brother and he didn’t inform us. There was a sofa, but it only had two cushioms. I notified him that my brother was not able to stay at the property and he had to find his own place to stay since he wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the bed with me. I also informed VRBO, but I booked this property for two people and it wasn’t fit for two people unless you’re a couple willing to sleep together. Instead of somehow reimbursing me, George changed his listing to make it a little more accurate. VRBO Told me they could not help me since I did not make the complaint within the first 12 hours (my flight was actually canceled and I missed the first 24 hours of this reservation). I would also say, that the ocean is barely visible if you lean your head off the balcony. This is the reason they put mirrors on the side wall of the balcony, to make the ocean visible by reflection only. Also, Retail floors are fairly grimy, so I had to leave my sandals on the entire time. I put a towel down next to the shower, The white towel turned dark with dirt. Also, the TV/remote/menu was not functional. Netflix also did not work on the TV. I am a frequent traveler number and therefore I am shocked and surprised by the other reviews.

This was my 2nd time to this property (different room this time) and it's even better than the first. The resort is in a great location, easy access to miles of beach, swimming, food and activities. Clean, accurate description of room and process before I got there was fantastic as George was beyond prompt on answering all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend George and Vrbo.

Beach location and property the best! Room above expectations. Arrival info was a little lacking, but we just went to front desk and they had everything for us to access room.

This unit is very comfortably set up for a couples stay, but easily can entertain six, as I did a number of evenings. The deck overlooks the pool, restaurant, out to the beach, ocean and Lanai and is a wonderful spot to have a meal or just relax. If you are a "big resort" kind of person, this may not be your kind of place. For me the MKV would always be my first choice for a wonderful Hawaiian holiday.

It was all as advertised, the wife and I have traveled to MKV for the past 4 years and view the property has a real gem. We look forward to our return. Also a big thanks to the Nelsons for there great property and working through all the arrangements!!

This condo and its location were perfect for our 30th anniversary celebration in Maui. If we are so fortunate as to be able to return to Maui we would not hesitate to stay here again if it's available. The owners have decorated and organized the condo wonderfully, and it was super clean. The king-sized bed was very comfortable as well. Mahalo for sharing your condo!

Sadly our three weeks in Maui are over but this condo and this special place akv made for a trip of a lifetime! The condo is so warm and decorated with everything you need to feel at home mahola Cynthia and George for making our time here perfect I'm going to miss having my coffee on your terrace looking for the whales! We also did the coastal trail everyday and it has to be one of the best places to walk as is everywhere here!

This was an amazing place in a perfect setting. More modern than most of what you can find in HI and situated near the water and right at the pool. We had a great experience working with the owners and would definitely like to return.

We have stayed in a few different condos here in the Villas and were very impressed with our decision to rent this unit. From the corespondence with the owners as we finalized our reservation to the exceptional, updated & cleanliness of the interior and the lanai this was definitely an excellent choice. We found the owners to be very responsive and a pleasure to work with and the unit is absolutely fabulous with spectacular views.

It truly felt like home. We had everything we needed, including the amazing view from the lanai. I recommend breakfast and dinner on that lanai.
