Upon arrival all staff were very kind, also when checking out staff were kind. Overall the Mercure was very clean, great effort to the team.

Breakfast was a little light for $35 with no option to have an omelette, I was told by a staff member when asked, Omelette's take too long to cook and that I could have pouched egg instead. The buffet warmers were not really that warm, food was a little cool for my liking. The ensuite room 226 had silicon gaps in corners of walls, this may cause an issue long tern with water damage, may need to get maintenance to check it out. The toilet seat was way too small for that toilet type, this has obviously been replaced with the incorrect type. The sofa was filthy, Please check this and have cleaned.

From off street parking to check in to facilities….everything was exceptional. I loved there was a restaurant within the building.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bed and bedding was lovely and allowed for a good nights sleep.

I wouldn't have dinner at the in house restuarant if I were to visit again.

A mix up at checkin was resolved quickly and professionally. The room was as described if perhaps a bit small and the bed comfortable

The location was more suburban than expected with limited retail or dining options in the area. On-site parking bays were very small and limited in number. The meal we ordered at the Wildflower restaurant was tiny and managed to be part overcooked and part raw. Upon discussion with the wait staff they advised the size of the meals for the prices charged was raised with the chef previously so perhaps managers should find a resolution or after our experience a new chef. Wait staff were very polite and accommodating and offered a free round of drinks for our table.

Bed was lumpy and a little uncomfortable with a ridge in the middle.
