A little bit hot in the room. The kitchen HAD Not many things.

The hostel is located in the city center. Every day, the staff cleaned the bathrooms, kitchen, and corridor. You can enjoy a spacious terrace for your breakfast, dinner, or lunch. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need, including a coffee machine, toaster, utensils, fridge, etc. On the terrace, you can find a space to dry your clothes. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable, and the bedsheets are clean as well. A towel is included in the price. The staff is friendly and ready to help at any time. When we needed to leave our luggage in the luggage room for a while, nobody asked for extra payment :)

Lack of noise insulation

The staff were friendly, and the common spaces are nice. The internet works without any problems. From the Hostel to the Historic Center of Leiria it's just a 10-minute walk. And from there you must go up to the Castle.

The room was cold and I spent the night freezing. I know that in the winter it is cold, but the heater in the room was clearly too weak. I had to sleep with my jacket. That was really uncomfortable. Furthermore, they don't provide towels and that can be important for travelers who like to travel light.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Helped me recover my forgotten eReader and even recommended me some books.

I'm not a fan of shared bathrooms. The ad for the room clearly stated that the bathroom was shared. But I would still prefer a room and an en suite bathroom.

it is a cliche but location is everything. I loved how this hostel is a literal stones throw from a beautiful church, and a museum! Also the staff were excellent and very accomodating.
