everything! location was perfect, in a small & quiet village only 15mins by car to Colmar. the Gite was high quality & super comfortable. The hosts were super friendly & really helpful. We got treated to a welcome gift of local wine, butter, mulch & homemade cake. During our stay we were also treated to home grown tomatoes, courgettes & cucumbers. A perfect stay in Alsace!

With its two bedrooms downstairs, each with its own bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area as well as a terrace with a view upstairs, this is perfect accommodation for two couples travelling together. It is in the heart of the Alsace wine region - easy to reach any number of wine producers (we visited the stylish Joseph Cattin cellar door in Voegtlinshoffen itself), and also within very short driving distance of Colmar and well-know wine villages like Eguisheim. We enjoyed being in the countryside and were able to do a lovely walk along old orchards and vineyards from another small village not even a 5-minute drive away. Geneviève is a very friendly and helpful host and spoilt us with several much appreciated goodies.

The kitchen is a bit cluttered - maybe a separate cupboard for some of the utensils would be a good idea. But this certainly did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

Everything was perfect. The hosts (Jean-Marc and Geneviève) are extremely nice and friendly, always willing to help you and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They left in the house for us beer, wine and home-made specialities from Alsace (all them wonderful) and they even had presents for our children! The hause is very confortable, the decoration and furniture is beautiful and everything (dishes, cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) is high quality.
