Beautiful lake, quiet, friendly. The tourist information was great. It was easy to find.

Nothing major. We could not get the timer in the stuga to work but otherwise everything functioned well.

We did not use breakfast

The cottage had a very strong stench (most likely of previous animal presence in the cottage) that was unbearable if door and windows were closed. The window curtains were very light and thin, allowing a lot of light in the cottage for at least 19 hours of the day/night, making sleeping almost impossible. The toilets and bathrooms were unclean most of the time. The old lady at reception had a commanding (bordering rude) rather than serving attitude. We decided to shorten our stay and left one day earlier. Not a pleasant experience at all!

Cosy beds, possibility to rent bed sheets and towel. Late check-in was super easy to arrange.

The house was not very clean. The bathroom were dirty and looked neglected.

Location was the best thing about it.

If you never got to stay on a camp site in the 80's and wished that you had, well here's your chance. Mind you, none of the good parts of that time. The campsite is well located next to the lake, and perfect if you're going climbing in the nearby bouldering area, but that's about where the positive side ends. The place is very dirty, the chopping boards in my cabin were moldy, the beds were stained (probably since the 80's), and the mosquito nets were all ripped. As for the facilities: the toilets are in dire need of a clean, a layer of dusty grime sits atop everything and stains of all sorts decorate every surface. The showers are the worst I have ever used, both for the reason that they are dirty, but also the water changes its temperature every 5 seconds from scalding hot to ice cold. The kids play area is pretty lame, and the owners dogs bark aggressively at any kids who walk by. It seems that the people who stay here live in their caravans all year round and so have just got used to how it is. Overall the place needs some serious love pumped into it, it needs a decent clean and a look at updating the facilities. The staff don't seem to happy to receive new guests, possibly because they know that they'll get reviews like this. They do sell ice cream though. So bonus points for that.
