Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed. Verder was alles super, de zwembaden, de zee dichtbij. Makarska was lopend te bereiken. Makkelijk met de auto te bereiken. De parkeerplaatsen naast de accommodatie.
Het was alleen jammer dat, er was fruit, ik er onvriendelijk op werd aangesproken dat je dat niet mag meenemen. Dit stond niet aangegeven. Ben al in heel veel hotels geweest en dan staat het aangegeven of het mag of niet.

De höga priset för tidpunkt på året.
Städ Personal som inte låste altandörr efter varit inne och städat, varit in i vår kyl och inte stängt kylen, 4 ggr!!! Och hade inget i kylen och göra!!!
Pool / vaktmästare som hoppade över muren in på altan, en morgon då vi skulle göra oss klara för dagen, utan att meddela/knacka på och skulle greja med Pool reningsverket. De är under all kritik! Fick slänga de vi köpt i kylvaror på grund av de!
Städerskan tog ett nyckel kort som fanns i Lgh då vi var ute. 4 ggr var altan dörren upplåst när vi kom tillbaka på kvällen!!!!😱 De var bara för någon att kliva in om den velat!!!😱
Sängarna var osköna.
Badrummet gick inte att fästa duschen.
Hylla saknades i duschen men fäste fanns.
Avloppet i badrum igensatt och svämma över
Påtalade brister gjordes inget åt, typ ett icke fungerande Jalusi, trasig lampa,

The hotel was just next to the beach and beautiful long promenade. There were sunbeds provided by the hotel in the beach, which was great. The hotel also had a nice poolside and chilling areas. The room was beautiful and clean, there were all the necessary items in the kitchen as well. The breakfast was very nice and had a selection of fresh fruit.
The view was not fully on the sea, but a bit on the other balconies as well.

The property is wonderful. Large spacious rooms. Fresh towels daily.
The service in the restaurant can be improved. Breakfast is delicious but I found some of the employees very rude which was very surprising not very Croatian. The lady who greets and takes your room number is amazing and helpful. the others should follow her lead.

The location of the apartment hotel Romana Beach resort is very good. It's directly at the riviera beach and so you can have nice walk on the promenade direction centre of Makarska. Although the centre is a 15min walk away, there are shops and restaurants/bars all over the way long. So there are lots of people too, it's a happening.
The room had a own small pool which was nice, so in the afternoon when the public pool was crowded we could jump into our own pool.
We didn't book the breakfast and this was not a bad idea. There are lots of shops which sell food and fruits around the place, also bakeries. The own Romana market had everything for cooking at the room and more.
The apartment room was rated for four adults, but I think it would be to narrow for 4 adults. It's actually a two adults suite. For families with two kids up to the age of 12 it is perfect.

Pool bar service was ignorant, they served drinks not on the menu and some food was cold, they were not interested in asking what the client wanted, unfortunately, last year it was exactly the same, the only place in the entire facility that put me off.

I liked the place and outside nature, like trees and see. There is a wolk-road near the hotel, and it is possible to walk in the evening. I also like the size of rooms, they are quite large, and views from them (we had a room to mountain\sea\parking)
Service - it is absent. Quality and accessorize in rooms. In one of our room there were no towels, and they were not delivered after call, but we had to come to reception and stay near it, till they bring towels.
Sea cost - stones were expected. BUT the beach itself is really DIRTY. there are a lot of trash everywhere, and there is no trash aiks. There is no poolhouse to change clothes, either near pools or near sea.
The postpaid\prepaid format for breakfasts \ dinners are not transparent and clear, even for hotel's staff.

We have stayed here for the third time and we plan to come back again. This time we stayed at one of the rooms with a private pool, and this couldn't have been better :) the staff is attentive and friendly, the food at the restaurant and the waiters are excellent. The location feels rather exclusive and it is a short and nice 15-20 minutes walk the old town. Simply an amazing stay!
A minor detail was that we had to call room service for additional cleaning but we might have been extra picky

If/when we go back to Makarska, we will definitly stay at Romana again.
-The private pools on the top floors are not heated and were ice cold in September. The larger communal pools were very cold as well.
-No products such as body lotion or shampoo.
