Excellent cosy flat with access to a beautiful garden and the most amazing hosts! Laeticia and Philippe made our Easter break enjoyable and unforgettable and their attention to detail is incredible.

Located a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Colmar covered market area. On the top floor of a private residence, with views over the pleasant, quiet, residential area and the roof tops to Colmar and the distant hills. Two large bedrooms, a comfortable, light filled, spacious lounge/TV area with ample sofa space for relaxation. Kitchen well fitted and for self catering. Traditional Christmas Biscuits and Wine were a thoughtful and welcoming gift. Large tiled bathroom with WC, hand basin, and shower over the bath tub. The hand held shower was awkward to use; shower curtains are never the best option for keeping a bathroom floor dry. A washing machine is supplied in a small laundry cubicle off a lower landing; is very useful for travellers packing light. Property was clean, warm and comfortable in the winter conditions. There is a large E.Leclerc supermarket a good 20 minute flat walking north of the apartment on the Ave Joseph Rey.

The hand held shower was awkward to use; shower curtains are never the best option for keeping a bathroom floor dry. There was a rail fitted above the sloped ceiling over the bath on which a the tallest member of our party hit his head while showering.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Alsace. Nice, clean and equipped apartment in the upper level of a house located in a quiet neighbourhood 5 minutes from the center of Colmar. Hosts were also very attentive and kind, and us and our three daughters felt as if we were at home.

The only thing I’d suggest is to find a way to improve the low pressure in the water system. However, once you get used to it, it’s enough for the daily needs.
