The property was beautiful. The house was clean and everything you could possibly need was there except for your food. We had a fantastic time and will visit this property again.

We brought our kids here for a quick family getaway. The cabin description is spot on. It was very clean and the check process was smooth. The kids loved the creek and making smores over the fire. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed the area and the river rushing by in front of the cabin and the fire pit on the covered pavilion porch. We spent more hours at the cabin than we did visiting the area which is a first for us, we will absolutely go back again and recommend this for anyone who wishes to get away to a beautiful location in a beautiful gorge. Contact with the property manager was spot on and there were no surprises whatsoever. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Everything about this place was spot on. Favorite part is how far away it was from the road as well as the private entrance as well as the fire pit down by the river but options to use the gas logs on the porch if it’s raining. Will definitely be back

White Oak Lodge is a beautifully designed and appointed cabin, perfect for a family vacation or a couple’s getaway! The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need. The bedrooms are lovely and incredibly comfortable. The house was spotless, and Laura, our host, was easy to contact and very helpful. The location is also perfect. You are a short ride from whitewater rafting on the Nantahala, thirty minutes or less from Bryson City, NC, and twenty minutes from Andrews, NC and a grocery store. As other reviewers have said, though, bring lots of groceries, because when you get to White Oak Lodge, you will not want to leave. You will find yourself relaxing in front of the fireplace in the vaulted living room or listening to the rush of the creek creek by the fire pit on the large porch. It’s an easy walk down to the stream that runs in front of the house. If you fly fish, White Oak Lodge is a great option for you! We would give six stars if we could! We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! The absolute best vacation our family has ever had!

The rental property was great! The property is secluded and has all amenities needed plus access to the creek. Definitely a place to bring the family for a secluded getaway in the Nantahala gorge. Plenty of information about places to see/go in the area if you want to make an outing, but sitting around the fire and just hanging out around the house is just as inviting too.

I booked this cabin because I always wanted to vacation in the Nantahala Gorge. This turned out to be amazing, this cabin is remote and feels like you are in a mountain wonderland. Everything you can possibly need is at this cabin and the hosts do an amazing job of making sure of it. Very clean and the property it sits on is simply incredible. Me and my wife spent every evening by one of the firepits (porch or next to the river) and I spent several hours per day fly fishing the Upper Nantahala! We visited the NOC several times and explored many other mountain towns which are a close drive away. We've loved this area for many many years and if you are thinking about staying here, book it now because you won't be disappointed. We are looking forward to our next trip back already. Beautiful cabin nestled above the river. The grounds and landscaping were immaculate. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything you need.

We stayed here for our wedding at Nantahala Wedding Venues and it was nothing short of perfect! The cabin was clean and gorgeous, the outside and surrounding area of the property was perfect. Hosts communication was excellent and they even left us a thoughtful gift for our wedding! The only downside at all is no cell service but the landline phone works just fine! Would definitely stay here again!

We needed a place close to the wedding venue, and this house was perfect! It is absolutely gorgeous! Peaceful and roomy, it has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely plan a Fall trip.

Close to all NOC activities Let me tell you this is the most beautiful home /property we’ve stayed at. Felt like home and I wish we had booked another night just to enjoy the cabin and private river area more! Would not recommend for motorcycles because of the driveway , however, for an amazing stay with just me and my husband we might risk it because we love our bike and the cabin is worth a try

Outstanding property owners have done an excellent job on the interior and outside the best cabin we have ever stayed in very relaxing inside or out on the deck listening to white oak creek and walking down to the sitting area at the water my favorite was sitting on the deck with the fire pit early in the morning with my coffee listening to the birds and the sound of the water we would definitely love to spend more time at your cabin the Waddells and Wells family

Loved this cabin! The outdoor space around the fire pit was our favorite area. Spent all evening talking around the fire. Great family time. Loved listening to the creek while sleeping and my kids loved the spacious loft area. Definitely highly recommend. Exactly as described.

We can’t say enough about our visit! The cabin is stellar, the property is amazing and the owners are wonderful! There is much outdoor activity nearby, but the property, Creek and cabin are the best! Bring plenty of food and there is no reason to leave! We booked a return visit as we were leaving! The owners have thought of everything to make the cabin feel like a home away from home! Perfect get away to disconnect and unwind. We enjoyed fishing at the property and along the Nantahala. So nice inside and outside that it was hard to decide where to spend our time! Everything you would need in a rental was provided.

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL, very clean and was the perfect place for our small family's Spring Break trip! The kids loved the creek and we loved sitting out on the beautiful porch in the cool air at night roasting marshmallows. The whole cabin is wonderfully stocked and cooking was made easy with all of the kitchen appliances and pots/pans. We had so much fun exploring the creek locations off Wayah Rd. and had dinner 3 nights in a row at the River's End Restaurant at the NOC. If you're looking for a beautiful place to "unplug" and spend some quality time together, this is the place! Can't say enough good things about this rental and the owners, who were very attentive to all of our needs/questions. This was hands down the nicest place we've ever stayed on VRBO.

This is a luxurious cabin that delivers in every area. It is in an incredible location with access to riverside activities like fishing. It is close to lots of outdoor adventures including rafting on the Nantahala. It was very comfortable, and our group enjoyed hanging out in both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The owners are very helpful and answered any questions we had. You can’t go wrong here. We’ve already booked again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was probably the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. My boys (7 & 9) enjoyed fishing. We had smores on the porch every night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Highly recommend staying here!

This place is located in one of the most beautiful settings in NC Wayah Road. The cabin is pristine and the host is so on top of it all and a real gem of a lady! I will be back!

The cabin was comfortable, relaxing and perfect. We went down to the stream every day to explore and even saw a bald eagle. The natural surroundings were beautiful and the noise of the stream was great for an afternoon nap by the fire. I loved the outdoor fireplace, well stocked kitchen and proximity to both Highlands and Bryson City. Highly recommend if people can live without wifi speed and go to nature!
