It was an amazing apartment, the People renting it was so helpfull and so kind. The apartment was perfect, and the most amazing view, but it does say that the beach was 200 m away, which is sort of true according to bird perspective 😅 but it didn't matter just order an uber or bolt and soon you will be at the beach for very cheap money. I would definitely recommend this place, but as a tourist of Sesimbra I did not acknowledge that the city is build on a huge hill/mountain 😅 so going down to the city was no problem, but going home is very hard, but what a beautiful city and we have an amazing stay. Thanks to the people who rent the apartment for an amazing experience, we will definitely come back. 🥰❤️

The view was exceptional. The property was calm and the apartment and surroundings were clean.

We assumed there was an oven but there wasn’t one so cooking was limited, but it didn’t affect our stay.

The woman who gave us the key´s on arrival was lovely, even though she spoke very little english.

The location of the apartment is awful. On www.travelportogallo.com it says that To see the sea apartments is only 250 meters from California Beach, which is actually true, but we have to walk 1.6 km after road in heavy, dangerous traffic. That is not mentioned by the host. It is a must to have a car if you stay there but difficult to get parking. The apartment is located in former hotel apartment building, which is mostly abandoned and need a massive restoration. The kitchen is missing a lot of equipments, e.g. the pots and pans are unusable and kitchen knifes are missing. Bad smell from smoking, cooking and other smell from outside enters the apartment through the kitchen fan. Smell of sewage is in the WC, probably from the bidet. . During our stay in April the sun didn´t shine on the balcony, the shower is very poor, the showerhead is broken, the master bed is small and far to hard. The bed sheets are poor.

The location is great and the view exceptional. Parking was ok but I guess in high season can become a problem. The hosts are very responsive.

The place itself is very basic and in need of a lack of paint and some love. The cleaning was very basic too and I have done some cleaning upon arrival as I was not happy with the state of the place. The bathroom smells foul, its almost impossible to stay in the bathroom for long. Next door is a building site which I have not been made aware of. Internet wasn't working properly.

Amazing views, large flat, very comfortable and fast internet and multiple TV channels

Apartment was fine. Walk into town was hilly and whilst that was no problem in itself there is no footpath so you have a 10 minute walk on the road. A kettle would have been nice.
