We have gotten the email with relevant information some days before, unfortunately we didn’t get a brief description to our apartment, no key codes and the number of the house. That caused us to have problems getting into the apartment.

They found accommodations that were close to what we had booked and managed to do it in hours. They were incredibly helpful, kind and understanding. They made a stressful situation manageable and I would DEF rent from them again.

The units were clean and well supplied (except we didn't have any laudnry soap) but other than that everything was well supplied. The units have wonderful appliances, but the units although clean have shown age. oved the location we were given. It was close to Lei Lei's so we ate there the whole time as there were not many restaurants open nearby. We haddd a wonderful time at 'Turtle Bay Condos.

Reviewer Comments: I was very unhappy with the cockroaches in the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom, that came out especially at night. I did not like the peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. I did not like the old paint cans in the downstairs bedroom closet. I did not like the disheveled garden outside the front door, and the leaves that were actually growing into the downstairs bedroom through the window shutters. I did not like the fact that the next door neighbor kept her door constantly open all day and evening and watched our comings and goings = a feeling of no privacy. I did not like that I got stuck behind cars trying to get into the only entrance gate, I guess because they did not have the code to enter the condominium complex, so we had to ask them to move their car so we could get in and they were not pleased. The condo was a long ways from the Turtle Bay Hotel beach and it was very hard to find a place to park in the parking lot at Turtle Bay hotel. Overall, this was not a luxurious vacation experience and the condo felt a bit run down and shabby considering the amount of money we paid to stay there for three nights.

However, it really wasn't as clean as I would expect. It was clean , but under and behind things in the kitchen, it wasn't clean. Corners were not clean. Then there were ants in the dressers. So ants got on my and my daughter's things. Luckily we hadn't put all of our belongings in the dressers. The rugs were a little dirty. Wouldn't have been a big deal except that I have a crawling baby. And there's no central A/C. It was quite humid most of the time. They have two window A/C units that are in the two bedrooms. The loft was quite warm as well as the main living area. It was uncomfortable for us. Nice and secure location. Loved the view of the greenery around. But I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Even after telling Marilyn from the offices at The Estates at Turtle Bay, nothing was done. Paying a total of $1,097.80 for a weekend stay but needed to leave earlier then normal check out due to covid cleaning is a joke when the unit is in hazardous conditions. Hard earned money was put into this staycation of our one year wedding anniversary. The Estates at Turtle Bay not only ruined our anniversary, they ruined what was going to be an annual trip. Attempts to talk to someone about the horrible stay at Wicked Wahine unit 012 West was not successful. I ask in email who am I corresponding with and they can’t even answer that question properly. All two emails was sent saying sorry your experience was horrible with us but we will not refund your money. No refund for us but the word of mouth goes a long way. My husband and myself are kama’aina, we will make sure to let all of our friends and ohana know to NEVER BOOK at any of your condos. We thought supporting a local company during the pandemic would keep money here in Hawaii but treating paying guest like their money means nothing is sad. If only this review would let me post pictures. Bloody bedding/black grout in the bathroom/used bandaid on the mirror/high touch areas not cleaned at all/communication horrible with The Estates at Turtle Bay. All the things you don’t want to deal with when you are on vacation. If anyone cares I have pictures let me know I can email them. PS forgot to mention if you also like random managers and maintenance workers coming into your unit to check on random appliances to see if they are in working condition, then yes this is the place for you to stay.

We golfed over the weekend and the club house was our backyard, which made it really convenient. Also, the neighbors at unit 11 and 10 were wonderful neighbors, we even had them join us at our bbq we had out back. The condo was a perfect fit for us. The outside screen door wouldnt stay on the track but that wasnt a issue since we left it open the whole time. We would definitely love to stay at this same unit again in the future! Thanks!

The unit is open and airy with the louvered windows, so much so that you can hear the waves crashing from the beach that is a short walk away. The Estates are welcoming, quiet and make you feel secure. The main level sofa & chairs have been ungraded and are very comfortable. As you sit on the Lanai you can hear laughter coming form across the golf course, there is Lai Lai restaurant that serves great food and drinks on the greens simply adding to the already wonderful time spent here. My family of 6 stayed comfortably for 10 night and found it hard to leave. I would definingly recommend the Estates at Turtle Bay for you Hawaiian vacation for family and friends. Mahalo!

Close to beautiful beaches and food trucks

Worst VRBO we’ve had and we’ve been coming to Hawaii and doing VRBOs for several years. Only superficial cleaning. Hadn’t been deep cleaned in a very long time. Old furniture. Found toenails in carpet. Junky beach stuff. Worst was not being able to get in unit due to door code issue upon arrival. Called after hours number and main number with NO RESPONSE until the next day at 11 am. Turned out there were two door code lock boxes so we figured it out on our own thankfully. There were no instructions about this and very little else. AC upstairs works but loft master is so hot it’s barely effective. And worse of all the dryer vents its hot air directly into the room and doesn’t vent outside at all so it becomes miserably hot when using the dryer. On the upside, Turtle Bay is awesome with lots to do and great restaurants, pools, trails and beaches. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful but she’s not given enough time to deep clean between renters. The property manager is rude and unresponsive. My advice is spend a little more and get a different property at Turtle Bay.

This condo was very comfortable. There was a good cross breeze so the temperature was always pleasant. There was plenty of space for our family. If you are looking for a place to stay on the North Shore, this would be a great place. It is close to Haleiwa where there is lots to do and plenty to see, but it is also close to Laie so you can head that way for food or groceries if you want to avoid the Haleiwa traffic. There is also beach access at Turtle Bay which is nice.

Ended up not being a problem with security.

We were very displeased with the conditions of the property. In the description of what the property has, it said both room has AC. Well both have an AC Unit that is located on the ground. In the Master Bedroom, there are open walls and the windows don't close all the way, so you don't even notice that there is an AC unit on. At night we left the window open to let it cool the place down and as it rained that night, rain would come through the windows upstairs. Downstairs near the outside patio, the water start to come through and flood the outer area that we thought it would eventually come into the house. There is a HUGE ant problem as well. Ants everywhere so make sure you pack something for that. No satisfied at all!!!!
