Room decor was lovely with bamboo poster bed and modern bathroom — note for the modest: glass shower partition off bedroom. Lovely garden and breakfast room..... very Zen feel to the property. Homemade crepes by Benjamin!!

The property was difficult to locate— the address didn’t show up on goggle maps, and lack of phone reception meant that the host didn’t return our increasingly desperate phone calls. We drove around for 45 minutes totally lost.... OY.

Proprietor, Benjamin, is a lovely human being; he is kind & warmly welcoming. He exudes calm. Meeting him was a highlight. He was helpful in suggesting sights to explore & patient and helpful with our French. He is passionate about the Brocéliande forest. Regarding breakfast, which is served in his dining area on pretty china, his coffee was delicious as were his homemade jams, crepes and bread. Cheese, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt rounded out the offerings. A toaster was on the table for guest use. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious & very comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water. Loved the towel warmer & large shower (it is in the room; toilet is in separate room). Liked the private entrance and space for parking. Enjoyed relaxing in the yard with delucious hard cider, complements of our host. All in all, this was a relaxing, very pleasant stay.

The room could benefit from a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed instead of on just one side. Otherwise the overall lighting in the room is excellent. We did not understand that a “hotie” is neither an inn or hotel but, rather, a kind of ”gite.” It wasn’t exactly what we expected, but we were not disappointed! A toilet paper holder in the lavatory would be a nice addition.
