Great house, lots of activities provided, good wifi, plenty of kitchen stuff. Had a really lovely time being right next to the beach. Easy drive to the shops and any other activity in the area.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. They weather wasn’t always favourable, but being so close to the beach, we made the best of the weather when we could. For the rest of the time, the house had ample space with two living areas. The lounge room upstairs has a beautiful and comfortable lounge. Always happy to find pet friendly accommodation that have great people spaces too! Thanks again, we really enjoyed our stay.

It was great to be able to take our furry friend away with us too.

We loved our stay in this property. it was a great size, magnificent location, very clean, well equipped and with nice little touches and inclusions. We would come back in a heart beat and are already looking to book this house in the future.

We recently stayed here hoping to have a relaxing and restful weekend away to enable us to recharge and our expectations were well met. The house was beautiful, close to the beach and well appointed. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it.

The house was perfect, we made good use of the deck that you can see glimpses and hear the ocean from. It had everything our family needed, space, board games, body boards and sand buckets and spades, outdoor beach shower, spa and a ping pong table that was very popular. It contained everything you needed in the kitchen. The beach is so beautiful and rich in life, the kids loved finding endless amounts of crabs. It had perfect wave height for my kids. Vanessa, was the kindest and most supportive host we have had to date. Everything was clear and made the whole process smooth. We recommend this house 100% and would visit again.

Great location and roomy property. Locked ourselves out and the owner was able to assist immediately - great service. Perfect set up for 2x families up and downstairs with plenty of games and entertainment. Seconds from the beach and an easy walk to the point for the sunrise. Will definitely book again.

This was our second stay at By the Sea. The house again met all our expectations in terms of cleanliness, presentation, amenities and great barbies on the sun drenched balcony. I thought 12 nights may be a bit long but the weather, location and dog friendly beach makes for an excellent stay of any length. We could have stayed longer. Our host was responsive to all our questions and provides all the little extras you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The living areas are large, light filled and comfortable. This was our 2nd stay at this house and it was as good as we remembered it. Easily accomodates 2 families with plenty of space for kids to play while grownups relax and enjoy ocean views from the balcony. Short walk across a quiet road to the lovely beach. Hope to come back for a 3rd stay soon

Close to beach, nearly everything you could need for a stay & a great dog friendly house.

Had everything we needed. So close to beach entry point which was really close to the patrolled section. We had some bad weather, so the board games, movies and ping pong were great for family time while the storms did their thing.

Everything thing was really good. Only main room bed was comfy bit still everything we needed was there. Even took paper. Spacious clean. Recommend

Overall the house is well presented and clean. Vanessa is available on the phone and able to sort out any concerns that may arise. The kitchen is well equipped and she's thought of items that one always forgets to pack i.e. foil, washing machine tablets. The location is fabulous, less than 1 minute flat walk to the beach. The beach itself is also wonderful. Dog friendly (some restricted hours but more people walking their animals outside of that time had them on a leash) and long enough to walk/run along, waves but nothing too big, not patrolled. We travelled with 4 young kids and 3 adults. The house accommodated all of us well but had my mother not come with us, it may have been challenging to get the kids to sleep in the downstairs kids bedroom as it is quite dark and feels a little removed. The house is carpeted upstairs with kitchen, living, bathroom, balcony and 2 bedrooms - 1 with master bed and 1 with bunk beds (2 single beds). Downstairs there is a living area, garage (internal access but there is a table tennis table set up in the garage), laundry, small bathroom and 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed (bright and airy) and 1 room with 2 bunk beds (2 single beds). Small backyard fenced which meant our dog was happy when he wasn't with us on the beach. The downstairs TV seems to be set up for DVD's but upstairs the TV works with regular channels. The large balcony off the main upstairs living and main bedroom is fabulous. We enjoyed sitting outside and having a BBQ. If I could make any suggestion, it would be to ask for a VERY late check out. We had a late check out of 1pm which may work for a week long stay, but as we were there for only the weekend, we really would have like to have checked out after dinner so that our weekend had felt a little more full. We would book this accomodation again.

By the sea was a great place for my family and friends. Enough beds to fit us all and then living area was wonderful opening up onto the balcony from 3 different areas, made it feel even bigger than it was! Bunk beds are great for kids, and great bathrooms to cater for all in the house. Amazing weather made the stay even better! Would recomend to all!

Lovely property with a ovely sun drenched balcony only minutes to the beach. The yard was secure which was perfect for my dog, however, a little small, perfect for my little dog. The house comfortably fits 2 familys with 2 separate living areas and it has a nice spa. I would recommend this property especially if you have a dog.

The house was comfortable and spacious. Easy walking distance to the beach and a very pet friendly yard. The neighbourhood was surprisingly peaceful for the New Year period. The deck was a great place to relax and dine. The addition of ordering linen is well worth it. The downstairs TV room is a good open area for the kids. Great house, kitchen well stocked with extras and lovely aspect. Highly recommend.

Very Cosy Holiday Home. Spend the weekend with family and it was great. The common area was the perfect place for us to hang out and the Balcony was a definite plus! The ambiance was very light and airy not gloomy or damp which I have experienced with other rentals. Very generous with kitchen essentials which comes in handy when you forget to bring from home. 2 min walk to the beach was a bonus!!!!! Will definitely be back!

The house was well set out. Located opposite the beach. Fantastic for the family!

Such a great stay for everyone, having the baby equipment there was a bonus and such a short walk to the beach will definately be staying there again
