The stay was wonderful, the beach right in front of us. Everything was beautiful. They left us everything ready for our bonfire despite it being late at night. And we had a fantastic karaoke time. We slept half of the night in the hammock because we couldn't miss so much tranquility and beauty and the weather was perfect. At 5am we went back inside. The service was super good and friendly. Breakfast delicious and arranged it for us since we were 7 persons all together with the view and breeze of the sea. We rented 2 bungalows.

Everything was wonderful.

The location in front of the beach, the personnel, the calm.

No heavy curtains/shaders on the window to keep the light away in the morning and to have privacy at night.

The staff here made our stay exceptional with all their kindness and help with organizing activities!

It was sad to see garbage on the beach but that's not the fault of La Fogata.

The location next to the beach was great. What a view. The room was big and clean. Friendly People.

Close to Los Frailes, an incomparable beach. Friendly hosts and family. Clean and pretty quiet.

AC would have been nice, but there was a fan. The waves crash hard on the beach at high tide and my bed would tremor a bit. No trouble sleeping once the earplugs were in.

Right on the beach, you can hear the waves at night. There's a side road just in front of the hostel so there's some noise from that and the neighbors as well but nothing terrible. Fast internet (worked well for a Zoom call), you can walk to Playa de los Frailes, it's a much smaller and quieter town than Puerto Lopez. The owners who live on-site are super nice and generous, let us use the kitchen and store our bags while we did the hike at Los Frailes before we left (highly recommend) and offered to make a bonfire for us. There are some family-run restaurants within walking distance on the water mostly with seafood. We enjoyed a nice homemade breakfast at the hostel at a table overlooking the beach - very nice! One note - all of the outlets in the cabins are two-pronged. I needed to plug in my laptop charger which is 3-pronged and I didn't have an adapter, but luckily the owners lent me one.

It's clean and comfortable but nothing luxurious. It was a bit dark in the bungalow, could use a few lamps or brighter lights.
