El Detalle is in an historic building and it was very comfortable, well set up and quiet. I love the Spanish metal blinds that block out all the light so we slept really well. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and sites. Maria, a helpful neighbour of the property communicated with us via text and WhatsApp to arrange to meet us with the keys which all went smoothly. We were able to park a few minutes walk away in the street but a very safe area.

The apartment was right in the center of activity, we were able to drop off our luggage upon early arrival, the hostess was very very kind, the apartment is big, washing machine (no detergent). If you are staying overnight in Zahara, this is a great choice for accommodations. The tourist office, across the street, arranged our taxi for the next day (one taxi in the whole village.) There IS public transportation by bus that takes you to this white town hill village. Ask at bus station. You are located directly below the fortress/castle on the hill.
No hot water pitcher to plug-in, but there is a microwave.

Super location right in the middle of the central plaza in Zahara de la Sierra. Very friendly and helpful lady to receive you. The habitación is a whole apartment with ample space for 3-4 people
The shower could use a renovation

Great location, close to restaurants, bars and the sights. Fantastic view from the balcony and a warm welcome.
