My stay was very peaceful and relaxing and Great which it made it easy on me to picking up my New Marine, the house was 30 minutes from Parris Island, Loved the drive and the sight see on the way. The house had something for everyone in my party. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I love the yard space for the kids and Goft Cart to take the kids to the beach. I Highly recommend the R anchor House,Thank you.

House is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked. Great amenities included. Hunting island park pass was a great bonus that saved us quite a bit because we were at the beach there frequently. It was great to have access to the golf cart. Got a call from the concierge service the day after our arrival making sure all was ok. Kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever had. We love to cook and had everything we needed. Beautiful screen porch on back of house. It is very obvious the owners have taken great deal of thought in the house and what is included to have for vacation rental. Highly recommend this place and would go back to it!

The property was lovely and clean. There was plenty of room for our family of four and room to spare. The property is about a twenty minute car ride to Beaufort. The property is a ten minute car ride to a nice beach at Hunting Island State Park. Th e hosts provide a pass to Hunting Island State Park which was much appreciated. The house is a five minute (or less) walk to a beach that's great for walking -- swimming might be a problem because of oyster beds.

R Anchor House was wonderful. It was much like described in the listing, and was perfect for two families with kids traveling together. We loved the beach and visiting surrounding areas, but the Coffin Point neighborhood was so peaceful and the neighbors were very friendly! I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the remoteness of the house, yet the nearness to the beach. The house was well stocked, except I wished for a shell book. We loved having the golf cart for trips to the beach and for touring the little area where we were. Quiet, peaceful mornings and evenings were wonderful. We would certainly go back to R Anchor House!

Great location and lots of extras included!!

Beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, pet-friendly home just off the beach, nestled among large trees, families of deer, playful squirrels and cute little lizards. The kitchen has everything a cook could need. The bathrooms had plush towels and provided travel-size toiletries. The house even had a washer and dryer allowing you to pack less. A table large enough for eating and puzzling, decent cable for rainy days and ping pong and air hockey. Our family’s favorite goodie was the state park pass - we loved our visits to the park! Highly recommend this property.

A wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay at R Anchor House. They have literally thought of everything. I’ve rented VRBO for years and never had a home quite so thoroughly stocked. Even though our particular week was filled with rain storms we still found plenty of time to explore and relax. It is worth it to get up in the morning and go down to the beach to watch the sun rise and see the dolphins play- I cannot imagine a better way to start your day. The owner leaves many amazing tips for exploring as well as a pass to the beautiful beach over at Hunting Island. Having two young children with immune deficiencies being able to bring them somewhere for vacation that allowed us to have fun yet keep them safe and healthy was so very important and this property was perfect for our needs.

Had a lovely stay at the house close enough that we could take a day trip over to Savannah and Love going over to Beaufort lovely walks over to the beach in the morning to watch dolphins with the sunrise!!!

The house and property were perfect. We enjoyed every second of our time in the house, on the golf cart, at the fire pit, and on the beach.

Wonderful home! Walked to the beach with our dog everyday. House was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. We would definitely stay again!

Our new family tradition is to spend Thanksgiving at the week. My son, his wife, her parents, my husband and myself. We love the house with all of the room. The kitchen was more than adequate to prepare family meals. And we truly enjoyed sitting aroung the fire pit in the evening.

Our trip to St. Helena couldn’t have been better. The house was perfect for our family of 5, the kids loved the garage, the golf cart and the yard. The many outdoor areas gave everyone their own space. The kitchen was fantastic for us who like to cook and grill. We went to Hunting State Park everyday to go the beach and each day was a new adventure. We also loved all of the local restaurants. We would definitely come again!

The property is great! I love the space and the neighborhood. It was a great pick for my family of 4. We felt right at home. The house came with a pass to Hunting Island park that was not in the house as the instructions indicated. We tried to get in touch with the property manager, but were not able to contact her, so we ended up driving by the office to pick up the pass. The cleaning was OK, but the person who rented the property prior had a dog and there were still big chunks of dog hair in some places of the house. I also found a roach in one of the bedrooms. Other than that, our stay was wounderful. We were able to rest. relax and have fun as family. I love that the house had games for the boys (cornhole. ping pong table, etc.). We would rent this property again for sure. The check in was easy, no contact required and the property looks just like the pictures. Overall would recommed!

We loved the property! Plenty of fun things to do on site: grill, campfire, ping pong, golf cart rides, walks to the shore and Avenue of the Oaks. This was the perfect spot for our family to have a socially distant vacation and enjoy each other's company!!!

What a wonderful place to stay! The house was exactly as described/pictured and couldn't have been more prefect for our trip. The kids loved being able to take the golf cart to the beach, and the adults enjoyed all of the games that were available to us. It was very nice to walk in on our first day to the lights being on and the tvs playing as well, it was a simple thing but made the place so much more inviting. We will be back and will recommend this home to any and all that we know who plan to travel to the Beaufort area.

Very nice getaway. House was clean and cozy, very well equipped. Golf cart was great for the short ride to the beach but close enough to walk. Lots of beach toys & chairs . People were very nice and welcoming. Not a crowded beach, peaceful and relaxing. Take bug spray if you plan to enjoy the fire pit in the evenings. We will return for sure! Thanks

Everything was nice, outdoor space was nice as well except grass needed to be cut and evenings you need bug spray but despite that it was very enjoyable! The golf cart provided convenient transport to the quiet beach. We truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Our grandchildren came for a day and enjoyed all the beach toys that were provided. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we would love to return again.

We visited this house in July 2019 and it was AMAZING!! The house is fully equipped with any and everything you need for a great vacation. We will definetly return to this home in the future.

Pictures start the story only. We breathed the ocean air while enjoying coffee on the porch watching the sun rise. Walk the beach and just be. Best equipped home we have ever stayed in. We love cooking and baking with Family on vacation.

The house was wonderful! One of the best equipped houses we have ever rented. Quiet neighborhood, not touristy at all. We loved the deck and screened porch. Very comfortable!

The property was great for R&R. The property is not near the ocean but on the sound. Had to drive to the beach. We are just not used to that. We needed to relax so that was perfect.
