The property was great we would definitely stay there again. Rental management was not good no gate passes and no resort passes available when we checked in.

Beautiful property! Spacious and well appointed. We had a wonderful week with our large family. It was hard to leave and go home. Ocean view was amazing! One tip I would give to visitors: bring plenty of bug repellent. Mosquitoes were vicious all over the island!

The location of this rental cannot be beat - it’s so close to the beach, just a few steps. The views from the living room are amazing! The kitchen was well stocked, with everything you could possibly need. The elevator worked well for our father in law who can’t do stairs. The beds were comfortable and the layout was great. Communication with the property manager was good, no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again with our family.

With windows all across the front of the house providing sweeping views of the beach and ever-changing clouds and light, as well as expansive decks on two levels, and one on the the front of the house for enjoying a sundowner cocktail, this house has great outdoor living. Inside, the house is sparkling clean and incredibly well equipped for those who are interested in having a gourmet kitchen at the ready. All kinds of cooking options, Viking gas stove and refrigerator, with a second refrigerator and ice maker in the laundry room make life easy. Bedrooms are comfortable and well-sized. Three face the beach. Two of them have access to decks. The living, dining, kitchen area, as well as two bedrooms, are on the upper (second-story) level, w a separate deck. Three bedrooms, a sitting area and laundry room are on main (entry) level. Many games, books, TVs, ping-pong table provide ample entertainment for evenings and the occasional, lovely rainy day. You will need to rent a golf cart and purchase amenity cards to access activities through Fripp Island Resort. Great house. We have already reserved it again for spring.

Great house. Perfect for family getaway. No arguments of bedrooms because they were all equally nice. Each with full bath and three spa tubs. Wow. Beach was perfect distance to back yard. What views! You can enjoy sun rises from one side and sun set from the other. First time vacation to Fripp island. Wish we could stay longer. We would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at Casa Del Mar. It was equipped with everything you could ever need for multiple families, space enough for everyone, and had the most amazing views! It didn't affect us too much, but one thing to consider when staying here is that the section of Beach that the house is located on is unusable during high tide. That only happens twice every 24 hours, but it is something to consider if you plan on spending your time on the beach from sunrise to sunset. High tide for us was from ~10am to ~1pm. Give or take an hour. One issue we ran into was maintenance workers coming to the house unannounced during the day. We were not notified that anyone was coming and infants were woken up from their naps with the loud banging. After speaking with someone it was agreed that they would come back on the weekend after we checked out, but they still came the next day to finish up their work. It was hard to reach somebody to speak to regarding the issue in a timely manner. The men finished up their work and we had no further issues. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the house per se, but it was frustrating to try and communicate with the property manager or someone who had control over the work order. Overall this was very minor, and when we were finally able to get in contact with someone they were very pleasant and quick to act. I sincerely hope that we can plan future vacations at Casa del Mar.

This past August was our fifth year to spend a week on Fripp with family and each year we have tried a different house. We finally found our place in Casa del Mar and booked it again for next year. The layout met all our needs and the location and views met all our desires.

We replaced the 9 volt battery in a second floor bedroom after the alarm went off in the night; had issues with bed bugs (best guess)- in upper master suite
