Natalia is the best host of our trip in Ilha Grande. The place is wonderful, quiet. Natalia makes everything easy for her guest, no need to worry about anything. She speaks English very well which is very helpful. Breakfast, dinner are delicious

A wonderful place! Natalia is so welcoming and kind, and the setting is idyllic. The room was spotless and really comfortable, with our own little terrace and hammock. So much care and attention was put into our stay and we felt really special! We had our evening meal (delicious lasagna) on the terrace and our breakfast there too. We saw all kinds of birds from the terrace which overlooks the bay. We wished we had booked to stay for longer!

Natalia is amazing and extremely helpful. She arranged transport for us, as well as activities on the island and gave good advice for activities (diving, hiking, beaches to see,…) and restaurants. Her breakfast is homemade, there is a lot of choice and it is delicious. She also cooks dinner if required (delicious lasagna!). The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The property was very nice and the only comment we have is on the transfers. Bananal beach is 30-45 min boat trip to Abraao. We thought the boat transfers would be cheap but not at all: - Angra dos Reis - Bananal: ~700 reals return trip. - Bananal - Abraao: ~600-700 reals return trip. We did not plan this much money for transfers so our budget took a hit. This was during low season so not many options and many people. This might be cheaper during high season. Also, if you plan to stay at Bananal all the time and not go visit the island, this is not a problem.

Natalia and eliz were great hostesses very attentive and helpful with everything. The hotel is very well located for calm seekers, has a stunning view (perfect sunset view in particular) and clean rooms

She is the best host you can imagine. Natalie worked in the hotel industry before she set up this wonderful place with her local boyfriend. The facility has only four rooms, the best sunset of the island and the loveliest breakfast prepared by Naty with passion and love, served on the terrace with the first sunshine in the morning. If you look for a quiet and boutique hotel place - Fauna is right choice. Many gorgeous beaches around, reachable by boat or trail crossing the forest.

The pousada is in a really special and quiet location at one end of Bananal. The staff are super friendly and caring and made a great breakfast with a view out to the sea in a tranquil environment. They also recommended the best snorkel places in the area.

Natalia is the best host ever! She is so welcoming and caring. We had an amazing experience in Bananal, especially thanks to her. We recommend this place- the breakfast was delicious, you can only hear the waves of the sea at night and feel surrounded by nature.

We enyojed our stay from the time we arrived untill we left. We got a very nice and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is very chilled, we enjoyed the terrace and had a nice caiperinha. In the morning we where welcomed with one on the best and fresh bfast we had in a long time. Good food and fresh food and drinks. It was fantastic

Everything was great, from the personal hammock at the doorstep of the room to the excellent breakfast, but the best part was the people! Thank you Eliz for all your help in organising the activities for our stay and being always available and kind. Very much recommended.

Super charming Pousada in a peaceful part of the island. We were looked after very well by a super lovely lady who also gave us a lot of good tips. We had everything we needed in the rooms and the delicious breakfast was served with a great view.

The situation of the hotel, the breakfast, the warm welcoming of the staff

We loved the guests, the cleanliness, the high quality of service for everything regarding our stay. We also loved so much the food, Natalia is a great and passionate cook, and Ezequias did the best caipirinha we've tasted in Brazil :) They know very well the place and gave many useful advice and helped with the transportation across the island to see other beautiful beaches. Breakfast in front of the sea is a must.

Beautiful quiet location, clean, nicely presented simple rooms. Very good breakfast and good home cooking for evening meals. We stayed for six nights and had a different meal every night, it was all lovely. Favourite would be the grilled fish or lasagne. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Ideal if you want a relaxing time sitting in hammock watching the birds and the sea. During the daytime we did some walks to neighbouring beaches, boat trip to other side of island, swam and snorkelled and saw turtles. Even in high season Bananal beach is quiet and tranquil.

Natalia and Ezequias just love their Pousada and the island - and this you can feel whether they welcome you to the Pousada, they help you with transportation, day trips, tips how to spend your time on the island...We felt welcome at anytime and we really had the impression that what they are doing comes from their heart. Also, Natalia is a great chef, whether it is her moqueca or the apple pie. Also you have to try their caipirinha with passion fruit and ginger. We highly recommend it! And we also really can recommend this Posada for anyone who likes to seek nature and wants time to relax :-) We really want to come back as soon as possible!
