The ambience is marvelous... It reminded us the village garden house of our childhood.. basically we recapitulated our childhood memories which we cannot find in Kolkata city side..

This place was a pleasant surprise. It is a few kilometres from the city which is great if you want some recluse from the constant cacophony of the city traffic. The best part is the place is well developed and will give you the feel of staying at a premium offbeat retreat in nature's lap. With greenery all around we never felt like we needed an AC. Also, the food was very reasonably priced and was also organic and homemade. The hosts and staff were all very helpful, disciplined and professional. Great if you have your own vehicle and want to stay close to nature in Bolpur.

Beautiful, peaceful, natural environmental place. It’s best for peace seekers people like me, far way from city business. It’s little far from bolpur but it was better for me.

I liked everything about this property.

The place was great. The fully organnic campus really was a treat. They have a sun bath too at the terrace. It just takes you away from the hustle and bustle of city life and provides you an experience among nature. Ducks, swans, a beautiful garden, a small area where they do organic farming. Its great at night and early morning. Absolute serene. The rooms were good, the facilities provided were good. The bathroom was clean, and they also provided new brushes, a sache of shampoo and a packet of soap. The staffs were very well behaved. Mr. Chandan Bhuniya who is the POC, and Jhuma the receptionist are very approachable and my dear. The food was awesome. Totally homemade food, tasty but not very rich in spices. They also provide the contact numbers of Toto or Scorpio operators for sightseeing. So you wont need to have that extra headache. Overall, a great experience.

I think it takes you about 20 mins from the Bolpur Shantiniketan railway station in a Maruti Omni(Maruti Van). So commute takes time actually.

If any one need few days peaceful life where sound & Pollution free then this will be best property for you. Owner is highly educated and doing lot of social improvment work which is noticeable. Very well maintained property.

Compared with Shantiniketan market food price sightly higher side. However all food ingredients are sourcing from his own farm.

THE AMBIENCE WAS EXCELLENT, BUT AT VERY REMOTE PLACE , HAVING NO SHOPS & MARKET ARROUND, THE ROAD CONNECTING WITH MAIN ROAD IS PATHETIC. THE QUALITY OF COMPLEMENTORY BREAKFAST IS EXCEPTIONAL.

There was a group of students, who got drunk and made our stay miserable.. They played loud music, vomitted in the corridor, locked our room from outside, and shouted all night long.

If you are looking for a five star/ commercial hotel type facility then you will be disappointed. The hotel is a lovely cosey place outside the city. A very comfortable homestay. Excellent place if you want to spend time for yourself without thinking too much about where to get soda for the booze. The ingredients of the meals are mostly home grown, so purity guaranteed. To the host: Sir, I am honoured and humbled by your gesture. That you spent so much time with me explaining your vision for the local youth, itself made my holiday special. I would definitely come back and spend more time with you if you allow me sir.

The completely natural environment. Excellent bengali cuisine. The pitch darkness of the night. Watching sunrise from my window in the morning. The chirping of the birds.

Exceptionally clean campus. Brilliant interior decoration. Friendly and helpful staff. Foods are very good and very much suitable for keeping good health. Surrounding atmosphere is attractive.

Electricity is little bit a problem

When i booked, i was a bit worroed about the location. When i reached, i found location is beautiful. Location is at the mix point of town and village. Very much noise free, calm and most importantly clean campus and at par with any five star hotel. This guest house is run by an educatipnal trust and mainly it is a social service venture. I am sure that it is best place of staying in santineketan for nature loving and peace loving visitors. It may not be good for nighters, noise creators, city lovers and drukers. The day i stayed here, it was rsining. I found at a few meters away, little boys were playing in a green field and birds were singing on a large tree at a distance. It was more than amazing and heaven like environment. Trust serves foods only to its guests. It is surely not a HAT..KHOLA bazar for foods. Thus foods are fresh and good for health. To me, foods i had were deliciously best of taste and healthly. I repeat this guest house will be not good for fast food eatets and eatets of refrigerated ready available foods at any time. Trust most rightly serves food in a disciplined manner in ficed time only, and therefore it is not liked by indisciplined eaters. Facilities include a small but beautiful garden with a pond at a side. Water fountain, goose swiming, are amazing. Foods are made of vegetables produced in their nearby agricultural field. Meditation centre and library are available. Interestingly, local women mostly prepare and serve foods. Unique and nice. My stay was exceptionally enjoying and memorable.
