The property was clean and the staff was polite.

The shower head was not attached. I was not able to take a shower. I think the price for 1 night should be cheaper.

Toilet was not working on arrival. Staff told me to come get a plunger from the front desk. They did not offer to fix it themselves. I guess I could have made the bed too and vacuumed the room before I stayed there. Not impressed and not very clean either.

Convenient drive to/from the High School

We opted for a suite to give us and our daughter a bit of privacy only to find the door separating the master bedroom had glass panes with a see through curtain. Additionally the shower knob was reversed so the "hot" turned out to be very cold.

The bed was like sleeping in the have not room on big brother. I read so many reviews from the owner that the beds are new and they weren’t broken in. Don’t get me wrong I like firm but I got maybe a hours worth of sleep. I do travel a lot and have never come across a more lame excuse that the beds were new. Who buys concrete beds for their hotels? I didn’t like the fact that if someone had a problem, the owner would reply back with snarky remarks and excuses, but if the owner got a nice review they loved it and praised the author. I told them I was there for work and needed to be close to the internet. I was told I was right above it but that was a lie. I was in the furthest room down the hall AND I had no TV channels until I played around (I too have direct TV at home) and had to do a hard reset to the channels. That was after nearly 6 hours no tv, no internet. Just wondering why I was even there. I could have driven home (it was snowing) but knew I needed to be at work so I opted to stay. I got the excuse that it was snowing but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I was in contact with my husband the entire time texting and not once did we lose internet or direct tv at our home. Suffice to say I will be checking out the other hotels in the area should the need arise which is sad because it is so close to my employer.

Breakfast was OK. Most breakfast options at other hotels includ biscuits and gravy, but not here.

I have allergies and there was nothing I could eat on the breakfast menu except a fruit cup. although my husband and kids enjoyed the breakfast.
