Comfortable stay for our family. So nice to have the space for playing a board game or watching a movie together (host has quite the DVD collection and was super nice to coordinate our stay with). Convenient location to local attractions. We hope to return.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Jack O Lantern Resort and it has become one of our favorite places to stay. This year we stayed at Ron and Iris’ place. We spend most of our time at the lacrosse fields during the day but my son is so beat after his games he never wants to go out after them. This property provides us with the comforts of home allowing us to cook our meals and saves us from having to find places to eat meals. Ron and Iris’ place was easy to check into, was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our games were over in the early afternoon so we were able to enjoy the outside pool until the storms rolled in and we just moved our water time to the inside pool and hot tub. Thank you Ron and Iris for the nice experience.

We love staying here. Its close to everything but private. Lots of room, great place to stay.

Great property with room for all! 6 adults, 4 kids, 1 toddler. Nice location 10 minutes from many attraction including Clark’s Trained Bears. Just 45 minutes to Santa’s Village. Property included all bed linens and towels. Nice indoor pool and an outdoor pool. Owners were very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions.

Would recommend a stay as there were ample beds, clean & location was great!

Oven was dirty, but the rest of the home was adequate. Wish there was a bathroom upstairs. Lots of bedspace.

Nice condo in a quiet community near all the places you're going to want to visit while you're there. Well thought out rental property and great communication with the owners. Will definitely rent it again

We enjoyed the property and location. Condo was perfect and comfortable. Had a great time there. Enjoyed the hot tub and pools at the community center as well! A great fit.

The townhouse was spacious and the grounds are nice. We liked the grounds but the listing had a playground, we didn’t see it. We like having activities where we stay but it was just the pool and hot tub, a little boring. The listing didn’t state that there could only be two vehicles in front.

WoW!! A more than fantastic week!! What a magnificent location for our party of 8 bikers!! New Hampshire is the most amazing place to ride!! Breathless!! The weather was fabulous, and we even took a day off to relax and enjoy the pool!! On the other hand, we have been disappointed in several little/big things: - as soon as we arrived, while unloading our luggage and bags, received a text message from the host complaining we overstepped the parking line by about a foot…!? - then, received a call from the host because he saw on his cameras that we were having issues turning on the grill and had a very aggressive tone!! - we quickly noticed that the cleanliness was not what we were expecting and were wondering what the preceding tenants cleaning fee was used for!? - Pots and pans were all sticky, we had to rewash everything before using them! And no dishcloths were provided, we had to use a facecloth to clean kitchen area, and were left two hand towels to wipe dishes dry!? - One ply toilet paper is absolutely disgusting to use! And we had to buy more, because our party of 8 ran out pretty fast! - Utensils were deficient for a party of 8. - There were several ants in kitchen area and bathroom, it was disgusting! - Only one set of towels per person, therefore we had to wash on a daily basis. - Veranda is lovely area BUT could also be cleaned, many cob webs! Host having cameras left us feeling pretty much spied on the first couple of hours we arrived! We’ve taken pictures of the place before we left so we have proof that we left it as we received it!! PS: having a security net installed for golf balls, would be a great idea… apparently not everyone knows how to play golf! Multiple golf balls landed right where we were sitting, it could have been dangerous!

We had a great week. The property was perfect for our party of 7 and in a great location for the area.

This is an older property but well maintained and comfy inside: cozy couches, chairs, and lost of space to move about. My 18 plus kids all loved it and the screened in porch was fun for them. The owners left good instruction to locate items and also had a good supply of kitchen items. We would definitely rent again. A few items that that would be helpful: (1) a 5 day day with multiple people requires more than 1 extra role of TP. We had to hit to market to buy some. (2) Instructions for use of remote and how to navigate it. They are all different so we spent quite a bit of time trying to get to live tv, on demand etc. (3) the location of the electrical panel - make note of it. We searched for it after blowing a single fuse. (4) Patches on the screened porch - it's fly season. The porch is a lovely space but we had to head inside due to holes in screens. These are all minor things and did not take away from the joy of our family vacation and we would rent this property again.

The place was amazing enough beds and location and we were the only ones in the club house hot tub. Beautiful view and very quiet definitely plan on going back

Very comfortable home., very clean. Kitchen is well appointed. Owners were accessible when needed. Close to many outdoor activities. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Was shocked upon arrival. Immediately called owner to express concerns and then he was contacted again with photos (18!). Owner stated he "was aware" of the condition of the property and went on about "how difficult it is to keep a rental property up ..." AND "I have never received a complaint before" Really?!. The photos on this site and also on his personal site that promotes all 3 of his NH properties do NOT reflect the actual condition of this property. Filthy (and this does NOT reflect the service provided by the hired cleaning service - I spoke with them) everything in kitchen was grimy and sticky. Many utensils were covered in rust. Toilet plunger in a plastic bag under bathroom vanity where you will also find toiletries and toilet paper! ewwwww! No close hangers in closets (that were also used for storing old items). Disrepair (shoddy/unprofessional repair attempts throughout) including duct tape on toilet tank cover, clogged drains in tub (standing in filthy water that backed up when showering), towel rod in bathroom hanging by one bracket, broken and tattered furniture and window blinds. Dated (and dirty) get ready to step back into the '80s ... and not in a good way. If you want photos, I have them and would be happy to share. If I could post them here, I would. DO NOT subject you or your family to this property or its owner who apparently has no interest in maintaining his property. Allowing this property to be listed on VRBO reflects poorly on them as well

Location for outdoor activities is great. The issues we had were addressed by the owner. Fun place to enjoy with the family

upon arrival all units appeared to be in good condition. upon entering unit we stayed in unit was very clean .spacious with plenty of room for our party of 6. was suppose to be 8 with 2 not showing up. still would have been more than enough room. location was great for our group as we where there to ride motorcycles on any scenic roads we could find. located on a golf course that didn't appear to be to busy. would have liked to play a round but read sign on clubhouse wall saying a collared shirt was required. none of them packed. would definetly stay here again next time we travel to new hampshire.

Property was great and very clean

Our grandson graduated from Plymouth State University and this unit was just what we needed for grandparents, parents, and our graduate. We prefer staying outside of Plymouth, and Jack O'Lantern Resort is our location of choice; this is our third year staying there. This unit has three bedrooms and additional sleeping space in the loft; televisions in each room, two full baths, a fully furnished kitchen (including both a Keurig and drip coffee maker); a comfortable living room; and an enclosed screened in porch. Because we're about equally distant from Plymouth and Lincoln/Woodstock, our dining options are more numerous. We frequent Lucky Dog, Woodstock Station, and this trip, had lunch at Black Mountain Burger (with a side trip to the candy store in the same plaza). We're hoping to return again next year when our grandson attains his Master's Degree. Iris and Ron were immediately responsive when we had questions before our arrival, and we look forward to staying at their property again.

The house was in a great location. Next to many of our favorite locations that we love to visit. Cant wait to book again

We had a beautiful time this weekend, while the area was very busy with it being Columbus Day weekend, we enjoyed ourselves and the beauty around us.
