Artfully designed apartment. Ancient on the outside, high end and new interior. Two beautiful balconies. Perfect location. Many restaurants and market nearby. Convient parking near the waterfront. Loved it.

This spacious apartment in the heart of Valletta is nicely furnished and decorated, well equipped, except for the lack of a microwave, and has a very comfortable bed. Providing basic instructions on operating the appliances and the TV (which you cannot turn on and off using the remote) would have been helpful. The owners, however, were very responsive when I ran into problems.

Great host. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Close to everything. Good value.

Bel appartement dans le centre de La Valette, placé au coeur de la vie de la cité historique. Supermarché à proximité, et nombre de restaurants à deux pas. A recommander à ceux qui veulent découvrir La Valette et son histoire, mais aussi les trois cités, ainsi que Gozo par ferry rapide.

The location was excellent. Our apartment was right above St. Lucia's Street which was the most beautiful street in Valletta. Any attractions or public transport you want to get to all were just a stone throw away from the apartment. Ruth and Nigel were the most friendly and helpful hosts I have ever met. Once we had trouble with the TV, Nigel came straight way and got it sorted. We enjoyed our stay so much and would highly recommend.

This place is in a nice location. Close to bus terminal and restaurants. Ruth and Nigel were great hosts. The place was clean and decorated very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Ruth and Nigel’s apartment is the perfect place to stay in Valletta. It is close to all of the sights, as well as local bars and restaurants. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It is ideal for a couple or family with two children. We were welcomed by Ruth and Nigel and we knew instantly that they would be the perfect hosts. They take great pride in the apartment which has been lovingly and tastefully restored by them. The walls are covered in Ruth’s inspirational works of art. We hope to return before too long in order to explore more of the lovely island of Malta.

Wir haben das Appartment & die Kunst darin sehr genossen. Alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt, ist sowohl im Artapart als auch in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden. Auf dem kleinen Balkon lässt sich gut frühstücken und dabei die Atmosphäre der darunterliegenden Gasse erleben. Sehenswürdigkeiten, Museen, die Einkaufsstrasse, Cafés & Restaurants, das Busterminal sowie die Fähren nach Sliema und die 3 Städte sind prima fussläufig zu erreichen. Ruth & Nigel sind sehr freundlich & haben uns mit hilfreichen Empfehlungen versorgt. Wir sagen „Danke & gerne wieder!“.

The entire experience of staying at this apartment was superb from start to finish. The communication with Ruth and Nigel was excellent and we received a friendly greeting on arrival. The apartment is perfectly located for everything a visitor could wish to see in Valletta and is equipped to a very high standard in terms of fixtures, fittings, and accessories. It is tastefully decorated with the personal artwork of Ruth along with an extensive library of reading material on a wide variety of cultural subjects. It has an enchanting balcony overlooking the street below which is perfect for breakfast or a romantic dinner and yet which is also private and discreet. We received a comprehensive welcome pack on arrival including various groceries, wine and toiletries. We cannot recommend this apartment enough and would certainly stay again should we return to Valletta. Richard and Glonie.

From the very beginning of our search for accommodation on Malta, 280 ArtApart stood out from the rest. It just clicked. We had a wonderful 5 night stay made all the more beautiful when we met Ruth and Nigel , our hosts. Having walked from the ferry terminal about 20 minutes away we decided to have a small glass of wine while waiting for Ruth and Nigel. This small interlude ended 5 hours later not only in the company of Ruth and Nigel, but also with the fellow travellers staying in another part of 280 Art Apart. It was such a great time. The memories will never be forgotten. The apartment is a true 1 bedroom suite fully renovated in tasteful decor while maintaining the originality of a Valetta home. The furnishing have been chosen with an artful eye complimenting the fantastic artwork produced by Ruth.Sensational. 280 ArtApart is centrally located to all the highlights of Valetta. Close to bus transport, shops, restaurants and points of historical interest. One could not ask for more. Our stay will always be remembered, thanks primarily to our hosts, Ruth and Nigel. In a tastefully renovated old building just a few meters from St Paul's church, Ruth and Nigel have created a well designed, well equipped modern flat. From the marble countertops to the breakfast balcony, this is a comfortable, aesthetically pleasing base for exploring Valletta. The walls are hung with Ruth's intriguing collages and conceptual works, and the shelves are loaded with art books and classic fiction. There are two good restaurants and a bar within the block. The main shopping streets are just a couple of blocks away, and we easily walked to the buses for Mdina and Cirkewwa/Gozo. If you want to stay in town, definitely consider this flat.

We stayed a week at the apartment and we enjoyed it very much indeed. It is a very well renovated apartment in a lovely building and benefits from displays of Ruth's artwork which is fascinating and really adds character to the apartment. The bed was very comfortable (indeed it made us realise that we need a new mattress at home!) and the bedlinen was high quality. Everything you could possibly need is provided and is of high quality and well-designed, which really complements the apartment. The location is marvellous, central to all the areas of Valletta you want to visit and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. That makes for a lively atmosphere. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony (even better with a glass of wine and some bread and cheese!) which overlooks a pretty street with a bar and restaurant and it was interesting to see how many people stopped to take photos of the lovely street. Ruth and Nigel were extremely friendly people and made us feel very welcome indeed. It was great to hear about Ruth's studies in England and her artwork and we will treasure the lovely book she so kindly gave us. Nigel also has spent time in England and it was interesting to hear about his support for a certain football team! They could not have been nicer and we would feel very happy returning there again in the future and would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Valletta.
