Great value for little money. The locations was close to the center and the room was big enough for two people who are outdoors the whole day anyway. it was very clean and the shower had a lot of power. I personally thought the bathroom was very spacious with lots of storage area and natural light (big, non-seethrough window). There was an AC, which was perfect for this extremely hot weather outside. Room was bright. the curtains were very thick, so good for keeping the light/heat out.

I personally don't like cold light (like neon light), so that made it feel a bit unfriendly at night. the beds were a little too easy to relocate (slidey bed frame, not best for cuddeling), but manageable. I personally prefer real (puffy) duvets, we "just" had blankets. I would have needed a bin not only in the bathroom, but also the bedroom. yeah, the street gets loud in the morning, but we had earplugs. I would have loved to also have sheer curtains. toilet seat had the wrong size, slides too much off the ceramics.

The people at the reception were extraordinarily friendly and super helpful. It is very cheap and you get everything you need. The rooms are also very specious and have everything you need.

This is a great hotel with good prices and even better stage , just remember it has no elevator, but as for me it’s no problem , clean , comfortable, quite , far better than expected , highly recommended, would have no hesitation booking again , thank you hotel Istria for a great stay :-)

A very simple hotel: just rooms and a small reception, staffed 24h. We arrived with bikes, and the very-friendly receptionist invited us to put them in a store room just round the corner from reception. This wasn't locked, but when I came back to the store room later, the reception heard me open the door and popped out to check who was there, which added to my confidence that my bike was safe.

No lift, which might be a drawback if you have heavy bags.
