We recently stayed at this beach condo with our two young children (ages 3 and 18 months), and it was absolutely perfect for our family! The biggest highlight was the location—just steps to the beach, which made it incredibly easy to go back and forth for naps, snacks, and diaper changes. No long walks or stressful packing of beach gear, which is a huge plus when traveling with little ones.
The condo itself was spacious, clean, and very family-friendly. The layout was great, with enough room for everyone to spread out, and the kids had plenty of space to play. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and the in-unit washer and dryer were lifesavers for keeping up with sandy clothes and towels.
We loved the fact that it had a gated pool area, providing a safe environment for our toddler to enjoy some water time without the waves. The balcony was also a great place to relax and let the kids play in the hammock swings.
The location was fantastic—not only were we right by the beach, but there were also shops, restaurants, and a grocery store all within a short drive.
Overall, this condo was ideal for a family with young children. It offered all the comforts of home with the added luxury of being right on the beach. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with kids! We’ll definitely be back.

We only stayed one night for Labor Day weekend and we loved how close this was to the beach! We liked that this condo was on the first floor and the parking space is like 5ft from the door. Same for the beach access. We will definitely be back!

We just had the most incredible stay at this beachfront condo! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how well-maintained the property is. The stunning ocean view from our balcony was picture-perfect—truly a slice of paradise!
The building itself was immaculate, with no complaints whatsoever. It provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We spent our day soaking up the sun and listening to the waves, and the evenings were simply magical.
If you're looking for a fabulous place to unwind, I can't recommend this condo enough. It was the perfect escape for my husband and me, and we can't wait to return!

This was the best condo we have visited by far. Beautiful location so close to the ocean waves vome up to your deck. The hammock chairs are perfect and walking out on the deck was like being right at the beach. The beach was just around the corner and the pool was also right by the ocean and perfect. alsppwralao

This is our second time staying at this rental. It’s very cute and cozy. But the views are priceless. I wish the rental time wasn’t so short though. Not much time to enjoy the beach if only renting for one night. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time!

Our stay was perfect. The weather cooperated (for the most part) and Debby didn’t make us too sad. We got a lot of walks in and were able to watch the waves. Would LOVE to come back when the weather is sunny!!

What an incredible place to spend a few days. When you look at the pictures you kind of wonder, “Can it actually be THAT close to the ocean?” The answer is a resounding yes. We have never stayed anywhere so close to the water. It’s honestly kind of wild. We loved the location, the layout, the check in process, all of it. The host even sent an email with links to restaurants and things to do. If you’re looking for something off the regular touristy path…a little more out of the way…a little different…you should book this propriety now. We loved it. The sunrises on the deck were unbelievable. We wholeheartedly recommend!

We loved our stay at the condo! Family of 4 with two children (8,11). Steps from the beach, close to restaurants/shops, and everything you need for an amazing beach vacation. We loved sitting on the porch watching the waves and taking a break from the beach. Pool was great for the kids and the condo was just what we meeded.

It was great to be so close to the ocean. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was great and my wife was so happy that there was a laundry machine. The living space was very comfortable we will be back.

The place was super cute, even had a small bunk bed for kids. Perfect size for the two of us with a great spot on the beach right outside the unit. The view from the deck was amazing and we could hear the ocean from inside. Quiet location but it was a short ride to the boardwalk area. I would go back for future visits and the view!

We came to celebrate our 45th wedding anniv and wanted somewhere quiet and on the beach. The Heart was perfect! Excellent customer service from start to finish. We watched sunrises every morning on the covered deck and listened to the waves all day. We definitely 100 percent recommend staying here and home to come back often to Kure and stay here. Would give 10 stars for The Heart!! Only thing is you have renters above you and you can hear them sometimes if walk heavily But nights were quiet and we both slept great in comfortable bed. All reviews are true!!! The Heart is better than one can describe. Try it for yourself if you want a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Thats how we felt watching God paint beautiful sunrises over the ocean each day!!

It’s better than the pictures and description! You can’t get closer to the water and the views are spectacular! The sounds of the waves, the sunrises and sunsets, all of it! Even from indoors the views are amazing. Rita and Steve were super helpful and responsive! They’ve got a gem of a place!! I met my best friend of 36 years there to celebrate our 50th birthday and it couldn’t have been better! I hope to come back one day again!

This was the BEST place for a much needed getaway!! We enjoyed having a relaxing dinner every nite on patio ocean view no crowds no wait! Steps away from the beach everyday toes in the sand and relaxing! Morning coffee with a beautiful sunrise and a good book. Just couldn’t ask for a more comfortable home away from home. Host was friendly and communicated promptly, and the home was clean, comfortable, and safe. The hammocks on the porch were by far the favorite, especially for a mid day nap or morning coffee. We even got to see dolphins from the back porch!
There were plenty of amenities, including books and dvds with both adult and kid friendly genres. Many local food options if you don’t want to cook.
Highly recommended for a relaxing and private get away on the beach in a quiet neighborhood but still within a short drive to the livelier crowds if that’s your vibe. It’s a must stay!

First let me start by saying the pictures do not do this beautiful place any justice. The view is breath taking , truly the closet I’ve ever stayed ON the beach! The property was so clean and quiet. You have the entrance to the beach right beside your front door. The hammock swings are my favorite part of the whole place. We ended up ordering take out and enjoyed it on the swings with an amazing view. They have a closet FULL of sand toys you can use . I wish I could post the 1,000 pictures I took of the view in just the one night we stayed at your property! The pool looked nice and very clean. If you go to this property the aquarium is possibly 5 minutes away so I would suggest checking that out!! I have already recommended this place to so many people and hope every one of you get to enjoy this place at least once in your life time!!

We stayed 3 nights and it was amazing! Perfect place for a quick Mother/Daughter get away. Sunrise from the ocean front deck was stunning. Plenty of streaming apps already loaded to the tv (one of our days was a little rainy and this was great for us!). Clean and convenient property. Everything listed was in working order and as described in the listing. We felt very safe staying at this property. Great communication from property owner/manager.

This condo was exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed. It was so clean. This place is right on the ocean. Like steps away. We enjoyed watching the water and waves and the moon shining on the water at night. Beds were very comfortable. Restaurants are a close drive.

The place was perfect for our stay. Comfy and welcoming. The views do not disappoint and you are on the beach. I loved being here at the quiet time of the year. We were visiting family in Wilmington and this location was a perfect “escape” for ourselves.

If you want a stay ON the beach this is the place. You can't get any closer to the water without getting wet. It was great to come out your door and be on the beach in 10 steps.Being February we practically had the beach to ourselves . The Heart was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. It was amazing being right next to the ocean. A nice surprise to be within walking distance of the trails and sites at Fort Fisher. The unit was cheerful and clean and very well equiped. The host was great to work with. I'm looking forward to going back as soon as I can.
