Love this little cabin in the woods. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, hiking, the river etc. The cabin itself is very cozy and clean! plenty of room to cook, relax, play games etc. The back deck is my favorite part! We enjoyed sipping coffee out there in the morning. I will be back!

This was a great launching pad for our ski vacation. We loved that we could bring our dog and made good use of nearby snowshoe trails to tire her out! We loved coming back to the cozy gas fireplace after a day of skiing.

GPS took us on some back dirt roads. Once we figured out the more direct route, ok, still a little further out than expected. Kitchen did the trick and the fireplace stove was cool. Nice stay.

We stayed at the rock house mountain retreat this weekend! We enjoyed it so much. The reservation process was smooth, the communication was amazing and the house itself was clean and peaceful. They have nice lights around the yard where the fire pit was it was beautiful and we were looking forward to sitting out there. The deck was also set up nicely. Everything was great. We never ended up sitting out at the fire pit, we hiked during the day, had 3 dogs and a four month baby with us. We decided to stay in and relax. There were so many books and games for us to use. We did this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday. He said it was the best birthday! Our dogs are part of the family, it was great that we could bring them, it is a very dog friendly place and area. If we go back we will definitely rent through Vacasa again. Thank you so much!!

Thankful for Gabby and Dave for sharing their wonderful house to my wife, friends, and our dogs. Their amazing spot was nestled around some beautiful areas, the drive in was perfect, close by to a lot of things to do:hiking, scenic routes, great food, and all the nature the white mountains have to offer! It was surely relaxing and we felt at home.

Infested with black flies, in kitchen and living room, the house smelled like animals which I would have ignored if nothing else was wrong. The fitted sheet on the full bed in the upstairs bedroom had black dog hair on it, looks like it was not washed, dog hair still on the floors assuming from last visit. Huge water stain on ceiling in living room. When I messaged the company with concerns I got a message saying they would address my issues. I never heard back. I was unable to stay at the property due to the fly situation, we killed about 10 flies but there were so many more. I called the phone number given and just got a generalized we are sorry and will follow up and get back to you, still waiting to hear back, never got a refund and we only stayed there about an hour before we decided we couldn’t stay there.

The property was nicely updated and had all that we needed for our family's one-week stay. The neighborhood was quiet with very little traffic. It is a short drive to Conway, North Conway, and the Kancamagus Highway.
