the hotel is lovely and right on the beach. Lovely staff and room serviced well every day. Great wifi, and TV. Ideally located for both town restaurants and ships as well as beach.

The room was small for a double and felt cramped. We only had breakfast once; it was OK but very busy and we decided not to repeat the experience.

no positive points regarding room

room: very small, no room to store clothes since 'wardrobe' was full with ventilator, suitcase stand and safe (which didn't function), We had to walk sideways around the bed to pass each other. The view was onto street, not courtyard. In the end, our experience of this room was so claustrophobic that we requested another room. None was available, despite vague promises (the staff did their best to find a better room but without success). We requested a refund but the response was negative. Instead we were told to contact booking.com. In the end we left the hotel early (on 9 July) and moved to another hotel where we stayed 4 nights. This cost us 320 Euros (4x80 Euros per night) - see attached bill. We therefore consider it fair to request a refund from you for 320 Euros.

Excellent location. Right at the beach. Beautifully decorated. Stylish and original. Nice staff. Very clean. excellent shower. Spacious corridors. Weather forecast in the lift.

Unhelpful and wouldn’t allow us to pay to park. They said it was full when it clearly was not. Studio block was rather shabby on the outside. Beds weren’t made when we arrived.

The hotel is located right on the beach and our room had fantastic sea-views. The room itself was a little bit small but the generous balcony more than made up for it and was worth the extra cost.

The hotel staff seemed slightly grumpy, in particular the night-porter.

The location - right on the seafront - is a huge bonus, being literally a road's width from the sands. Overall the decor and finish was of a good standard as befitted a 3* hotel. The bathroom was excellent although at the cost of reducing the room size. On arrival the tea/coffee facilities had not been refilled and it was necessary to ask reception to provide coffee, tea, milk, sugar etc. which is an oversight that I would not expect

The breakfast - at €12 is overpriced for the fare on offer. Having previously stayed at a well-known budget chain which managed to provide everything that The Originals offered plus cooked food (scrambled eggs and bacon) for €8.50 we were disappointed.

Great location and rooms. a little hick-up at the start not getting the correct room booked but reception staff resolved the issue the following day. with had a great stay in general.

Very friendly staff, location is a must, the breakfast is good a very good place to stay and enjoy Berck and the cities nearby. The beach is right in front of the hotel, all the restaurants are really close to the hotel and you can enjoy all that by taking a walk. Good point : the hotel is really keen on proposing multiple visits, activities and sightseeing.

We had an apartment with an extra bed to accommodate the four of us (parents + two small children). Apartments are located in a separate building on the site complex. The room was spacious and reminded us of a (renovated) youth hostel, which was useful with the kids who like to trash places.

Most of the reception staff spoke English. However, when I asked whether parking is available so I could move my car from the main road to on-site parking, the lady gave me a card which I assumed opens the parking lot. After giving up the parking spot on the main road at peak time, the card didn't open the door and the reception lady told me that that's just another key card for my room. This was pretty annoying as I had to find another parking spot which was quite far off. If you arrive during early morning or late evening hours, sufficient parking is available at nearby parking lots without charge.

We had a studio, it was well sized for the 3 of us, one Adult and my two children. I had the double in the lounge and they kids had a large bunkbed. There was a small kitchen with all you needed to fix a basic meal. The large inside table and table and chairs on the balcony were nice to choose where to eat/sit.

I had to put on my own bed linen, it was poorly sized to the bed, The staff, although three on reception, seemed a little indifferent or disinterested in the guests. I cleaned up and all used crockery and cutlery was placed in dishwasher. After 1 hour of checking out the hotel called me asked me to come back to wash up. Something that was never discussed at any point from check in to the phone call.
