Beds and room itself were big. Breakfast decent, but few warm options. Bathroom quite old, but clean.

Room smelled like cigarettes, no change was possible - staff just told us that no one had stayed in the previous 2 days. If only cigarette smoke smell magically disappeared in 47h...

Delicious evening meal from the hotel restaurant.

Very noisy room (No. 24 in the annex). For some reason, the heating was still on and although I turned the thermostat down on each radiator more than once, the automatic program would switch them back on again after some time. This made the room too hot and stuffy so I had to open the window. Unfortunately, this lets in a lot of road traffic noise. Also, I could clearly hear guests in the downstairs lobby of the annex talking until very late so I shut the glass door at the top of the stairs. But then the door bangs shut every time someone comes through. And finally the occupants of the room next to mine woke me up at 6:20 am enjoying themselves loudly.

We loved everything. I made the reservation 10min before 10 p.m (end of check-in time), one hour and a half away from the property. When I realised the mistake I've done, I've called the property to see if my reservation came through and if they would let us check in so late. The lady on the phone was very polite and told me that there were no problems, and explained me where she was going to put the keys for us, being that we were the only guests in the property at the time. Everything was like she said, the room was clean, warm and comfy. The next morning we came down for breakfast and there was a feast waiting for us :) ( see the photos, as I said, the two of us were the only guests in the property!)
