Breakfast is amazing

Booked the executive room, and with the expensive room you expect everything to be perfect. However no batteries in tv remotes, pool on the roof to cold (fixed after 1 night) seating in restaurant all the way in the end and no spa slippers present.

Vieles war einfach nur super: Rezeption, Fittnessraum, Frühstück, Essen, Bedienung (fast alle...), Sauberkeit, Aufmerksamkeiten, SPA-Bereich, Lage, Parkplatz, ....

Mittelfristig sollte das Ronacher auch für Biker und Radler einen geeigneten Fahrradraum mit Servicemöglichkeiten (Werkzeuge, Luftpumpe, ... bereitstellen.

It is a top notch destination facilities and food was great very well run and recommended

The only issue is that there is no AC in the rooms. When we were staying it was no issue and we slept with the terrace door tilted but it could be an issue in hot days

The resort has all you need for perfect rest

The hotel is first rate. It is in a great location, it is sparkling clean, offers fantastic food and supreme service. It is a super place to relax and unwind and we enjoyed it.

There are a few things you should be aware of, although quite acceptable by the locals we ‘merikans might not be used to. The highly advertised healing thermal water pools along with the special saunas (one of the reasons why I booked this hotel) are in a separate area to be enjoyed only by the “Nature lovers” (read nudists). For shy people like me and my wife it is off limits. The hotel is not air conditioned. This part of Austria is usually cool even in the summer but with the global warming upon us this is no longer the case. The day we arrived the outside temperature was 33.5C (93F). On our room balcony it was 32C (90F) and the room was uncomfortably warm. The outside cools down at night so sleeping with the door wide open is a must. Another problem is that the only cover on the bed is the very warm goose-down comforter. My solution was to strip the comforter and use only the comforter cover as the cover up. And finally, the TV has nearly 150 channels but the only station in English is the French news channel.

Stayed at Ronacher many times before and definitely planning to stay again. Pool area is wonderful. Hotel is very clean, staff polite and helpful. Place is lovely and non pretentious.

At some moments young staff seemed overwhelmed with everything. Lack of choice for vegetarians. Vegetarian meals for dinner are boring, too greasy and not so tasty.

The food was amazing . I like the majority of food and the fact that whole food was organic, fresh from local farm and the hotel garden.

The view from the room was amazing, the staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable only we didn’t like the pillows.

They had working pool inside and outside and difficult ok saunas.

Ronacher Good to know prior to deciding to visit Das Ronacher - Therme and Spa Resort 1. Pre-fried pancakes 2. No nuts for serials 3. No waffles 4. No avocado to salads 5. No orange or grapefruit fresh juice 6. Most juice from concentrate 7. Smoothie from different fruits but so spoiled - already in process of fermentation (tried two days in a row and no worse - disgusting). 8. Limited fruit choices, No bananas 9. Only one Coffee machine, which guests have no access to. Coffee is most times delivered barely worm. 10. No kid’s menu (not even at new year’s eve). 11. No Fireworks at new year’s eve. 12. Poor new year’s eve menu, extremely limited food choices. 13. Despite early room request over the phone and promised to have a room on the fifth floor we got a too small room and then were transferred on the second day to the second floor to a larger room but now viewing over the garage and transformator/generator building. 14. On the second day we had to remind the front desk that there were things missing in the room; no soap, no slippers, no bathrobes. 15. First two days there was a madras dumped on-top of the couch in the room, which was only removed on the third day after we complained. 16. Slow room service, unprofessional and very unorganized. Had to call three times for dry bathrobes and waited 40minutes, on the 2nd call we were told that the personal must have forgotten and we asked for liquid soap for the bidet but this was completely disregarded, on the third call we were transferred to another who promised to send a colleague right away and then when they finally delivered (too small robes), we were told that they are very busy, and the person turned around and just left, last but not the least, all these calls had to be done from our cellphone as there was no phone in the room. 17.
