Absolutely amazing

We stayed 4 days. The weather was great for 2 days then the rain. It was still nice with the fireplace and all the windows. Cabin is completely furnished with everything you need. The furnishings are warm and comfortable. The little extras make it a perfect place. Hot tub looks new and was nice in the rain. Host is excellent and furnished lots of info about the area.

We had an amazing time! That view was breathtaking. Deer and a bunny would visit us everyday. Everything we needed for cooking and grilling was available. Every morning and evening we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the water and mountains. We will be back!!!

The cabin was comfortable and had an amazing view even with how cloudy our stay was. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working while we were there and since all 4 of our days we stayed were rainy during the day prohibiting us from hiking (and interrupting that beautiful view), the hot tub could have been the thing to make the stay so much more in the evenings when the rain cleared. We did receive a small refund for the lack of hot tub use, to be fair. But it was still a huge bummer to not have that as it was the second selling point beyond the view for me to book it in the first place. They had a lightning strike that had damaged it and I'm sure it will be working again for the next guests... The repair guy just wasn't able to get there in time for us to use it.

We stayed here for Father's Day and had a wonderful weekend. The view is amazing. Every bedroom has a great view. The lake town is great for the family and Doug is a very solicitous host.

The best experience ever. Doug is the best host, he did went above and beyond to make our experience the best. The house had one of the best views. Pictures make not justice to the place. Completely recommended.

The property's online description was accurate and the view was breathtaking! There are sliding doors from every room to access the deck.There were plenty of towels and the necessities to cook a meal. The hot tub was amazing! I would like to lovingly say that the main bedroom mattress was too hard for us (to each his own preference) and we ended up sleeping in the other two beds which were very comfortable. If I had been there longer, I would have gifted the owner's a memory foam mattress topper for the main bedroom. We loved the cabin that much! ❤️ We would definitely go back. It was our first trip to stay in Hiawassee

This property isn't far from the main highway and is in a mountain community, but it has amazing views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Chatuge and nearby houses are so well placed that you really don't notice they are there. The house has a nice layout with access to the wraparound deck from the living room and every bedroom The hot tub is in a great spot on the deck for amazing views in every direction. The host is very familiar with the area and shares his knowledge freely prior to your arrival. We had a wonderful long weekend in the area thanks to the host and this perfectly placed house. We look forward to coming back soon.

The house itself is nice and cozy, but the view is truly amazing! We had 2 preteens and 3 adults, and there was ample room to sleep and spread out. There are tons of games, DVDs, etc. We will definitely book again.

I loved the labeling in the kitchen because I am a stickler for items to be returned to where they belong. My only suggestion would be more cookware as I love to cook. My family would love to return here and highly recommend staying at this beautiful home!

There is nothing more to say but amazing! The views! The layout! The location! We definitely are planning a summer trip back!

The property was beautiful and just as described online. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I do appreciate that they have a weekly trash pickup service (this may not seem like much but every other rental I’ve stayed in in Hiawassee, we have to take our own trash to the landfill so this was a plus!). There were plenty of movies and games for our 9 and 3 year old. The only issue I noticed was that master bathroom shower caulking definitely needs to be replaced. This isn’t a big deal but it did look kind of gross. The bed in the master bedroom is hard as a rock, which I noticed others said the same thing so I was expecting it but I was shocked at how hard it was when I actually sat on it. Also, the property has a downstairs area that is locked. With my spouse being law enforcement, that didn’t sit well with him because there is a door leading to the downstairs area that is accessible from inside the upstairs living area so he was uncomfortable not knowing what was down there and that was also not advertised. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Great spot centrally located to a lot! As many stated very beautiful views from the home :) It had lots of space and we had a great time! Will definitely be back!

The views from this property are breathtaking and every bit as beautiful as the pictures. Every room has a view and as much as I love a wood burning fireplace, the gas fireplace was simple to start and warming on cold mornings and nights. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The only thing I would suggest is printed and laminated instructions on the TV’s. My husband and I are seniors and we had trouble figuring them out and never did get to watch TV in the master bedroom. Also just a note….the drive up to the home has some sharp turns and steep climbs (we got there after dark and it was raining, so a bit hairy for us) and I’m sure it is great for a normal vehicle, but we have a handicapped accessible van with ramp and had some issues getting in and out of the driveway due to how low our vehicle sits. I’m sure this isn’t a problem for a normal vehicle.

Very cozy home with amazing views of mountains, Hiawassee and the lake. There was even a Christmas Tree to welcome us! We were also greeted a few times by a family of deer. Being from Florida, the drive up the road was steep and so a little intimidating but how else will you get the views this home has? I must also mention the fireplace was a nice treat especially for the chilly days we were there! There was a selection games and movies. The sheets and towels all smelled fresh and clean. I would only recommend that maybe the Master Bath shower grout is given a little extra attention.

We had an amazing weekend here. The view is spectacular and the house couldn’t have been more cozy. Everything you need for a quiet getaway. Great location. Would stay again!

I chose this property for the amazing view and it did not disappoint. Our intent was to relax and "do nothing" and our plan worked out perfectly. Doug, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He called shortly before we arrived to tell us the fireplace was broken & could not be fixed for our stay, which was a bummer, but honestly we probably wouldn't have used it much anyway. We spent all our time on the very nice deck enjoying the view. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Just can’t find a better view. We were here in 2010 and 2011 for sure and I think one other time. This time we introduced family from Texas to “Eye Candy.” They loved it.

The views from this comfortable cabin were as advertised - breathtaking. The hot tub added to the experience. We spent time golfing and exploring local breweries and the area, but mostly loved relaxing at the house. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view is amazing and it is very convenient to restaurants, bars and great hiking destinations! The pictures do not justice to the breath-taking views. The property was well manicured and immaculately clean. It well exceeded our expectations. Doug, the host, went way out of his way to get us information on all the local attractions and best restaurants. We hated to leave and as we were driving back to Michigan, were reviewing dates to return to this rental as soon as possible.

The views from this home were stunning! While there, we saw epic sunrises, rainbows and storms dance across Lake Chatuge. There is no better way to take in this beautiful vista than from the hot tub. The house itself suited our needs well. It was clean, well maintained and functional. We hope to stay here again when visiting the Hiawassee area.

Went to Bell Mt, cupid falls, Ana Ruby Falls (a must), you will not be disappointed with this lovely home. Will definitely be back with our boys.
