Great Stay!

The host was very friendly and very helpful and recommended places of interest and restaurants and pointed them out on a map he supplied. He also assisted us with bicycle rental. The caretaker/cleaner Nora was also very friendly. Great location and close to many restaurants. The only comment would be the mattress which was a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the city centre yet in a tiny, very quiet street (vicolo). Upon arrival Alberto gave us several tips, showed us around the b&b and shared suggestions regarding things and churches to visit in Lecce. Alberto and Filippo were always available on WhatsApp, even though we only needed support on the day of arrival due to train delay. The room was very big, warm, had everything one could need (incl. extra pillows) and beds were extremely comfy! Icing on the cake: relaxing chromatic shower and the daily housekeeping of the amazing lady, Nora! What a unique experience to stay at historical and culturally-protected building in the heart of Lecce old city! Definitely recommended!

Location was fabulous, short walk to city center of old town.

A blanket for the bed would have been nice. The cover on the bed was pretty thin and light weight The TV's remote was defective, couldn't turn TV on. Owner did replace remote the next day though. I don't like having to leave the premises for breakfast, and in this case the breakfast offered was outside of the old town. I didn't even use my breakfast vouchers. For the price of this B&B , the breakfast should have been at the location considering that it was only coffee and a pastry. I also stayed at other hotels on this trip which had full breakfast buffets for the same cost or slightly lower. There's a jacuzzi on the rooftop deck which was very nice, especially since my legs were so sore from all the walking I did for 2 weeks. There was a 10euro additional charge for each use. That should be explained in the advertisement of the property.

The rooftop jazucci was an added bonus - fantastic central location within the old town - exceedingly friendly staff - I could not recommend Centro Storico b&b enough

Friendly and engaging staff - very communicative and the room was so lovely and comfortable. Mattresses/ pillows and linen are next level. They have understood that people go to a hotel to sleep well!!

The location was excellent - Marco helpfully shared a map with us on arrival and pointed out the main points of interest for us to see. It was only a short walk to all sights within the old city and to many bars (e.g. Il Baffo) and restaurants (La Negra Tomasa for pizza, La Bucca for a more special dining experience). We also enjoyed the short morning stroll to breakfast every day and were well looked after by our waiter, Julian. The room itself was very clean and the spaciousness was a pleasant surprise.

The rooms are up two flights of stairs, which might be difficult for some travellers to navigate, although part of the experience when staying in a historical building. The cleaners were very helpful in lowering down our suitcases by pulley when we were leaving!

The location is perfect to discover Lecce and the room is really comfortable ! The possibility to use the spa on the rooftop is great ! Thanks to Marco for his welcome and usefull tips

The team who are always available for any help, and really went above and beyond to make my stay a fantastic time! I'm so glad I stayed there, the view, the jacuzzi, the simple aesthetics that blend in very well with this splendid 17th century noble's home.

The attitude of the owner when I ventured out to tell him that I did not have any water in my suite, it was clearly not his priority since he was preparing the breakfast of his Italian guests, I can perfectly understand one can't be available 24/7 but he sort of shoved me away like a nuisance without a smile or a word of reassurance. He sure has a beautiful place and great ancestry but didn't not feel like I was treated with respect.

Rooftop room not suitable if you have mobility issues. Very steep stairs. We loved it though!

This B&B truly has it all: It is an absolutely beautiful place with an amazing rooftop, the location is great as it's positioned right in the city center, the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the owners are really friendly and will help you with anything you need and give you great tips on where to eat and what places to visit. Couldn't ask for more and would definitely recommend staying here.

The location is tremendous. it is right in the heart of the Centro Storico. Alberto gave us a really good introduction to the town, with advice on sights and good places to eat. He even made a reservation for us. Breakfast at Pinti, a cafe just beyond the gates of the city, was great.

Perfect location in the center of the old town of Lecce. Wonderful welcoming from Filipo our host. Room 3 was just huge clean and elegant. Hot tub on the roof terrasse was a charming experience. Breakfast included in the price in a nice coffee shop close by with fantastic pastries.

We stayed at B&B Centro Storico on our honeymoon road trip and even though we only booked on midday of the day of stay, the staff at the hotel went over and beyond to make us feel special. They welcomed us, gave us a small bottle of wine as a gift and we were also invited to use the jacuzzi on the rooftop free of charge! The location was also great for exploring Lecce. We recommend this place!

We LOVED it all!!! Angelica, the site manager, was “beyond words AMAZING!!!” She just couldn’t do enough to make our stay fabulous!! We have been to many accommodations throughout Italia, and this is now one of our favorites. The location, ( which is a former Palace) the room having a loft with two extra beds if we needed, the rooftop terrace for a city view, and even the nice little snacks that awaited us upon arrival to our suite. Angelica suggested the perfect places for meals. We were given breakfast coupons, which were for breakfast at a local cafe right down the street. We thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino and local pastry specialty, Pastcciotto!!! Oh, how I wish I could take them back home with me, but this is just one more reason I will return to B and B Centro Storico in Lecce!! Angelica even agreed to help me get some postcards sent back to the USA! She is always smiling, warm- staying here feels like you are visiting a long time friend! Carlo was also awesome... he made our room look all tidy everyday, and it felt great to relax in the late afternoons in our nice clean, quiet room while it was raining a bit. There aren’t enough kind words to say about our time at this B and B, and the people like Angelica and Carlo! I plan to stay in touch and be back for another lovely time in Lecce!!

We had a great time in Lecce. On the day of arrival we were welcomed by Filippo and Alberto. They gave us very valuable tips regarding activities and restaurants. In addition, we also received an upgrade to the room. In other words, highly recommended!
