Our visit took place during a tropical storm. The house provided plenty of space for a week primary spent indoors. The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool was a treat during the brief periods of sunshine. Continuous communication was provided during the Tropical storm. We hope to come back!

Just a great house, great pool, great beach access, and great owner! You will feel like you are in your home (only with a pool!) for your stay. This is the second time we have rented 178 Glen Abbey, and we will be back if we can get a rental week. It is very booked as you can see!

The experience at this property was as good as its description and pictures. The house is beautiful and very roomy. The kitchen was fully equipped for any type meal. The communication with the host was very timely and informative. The location on Kiawah Island was special. Very quiet and remote with a 10 minute walk to the beach. The pool and spa are both heated and a welcomed relief after a day on the beach. We’d highly recommend the property if you like quiet and restful.

House was perfect for my family. 3 adult children their spouse and 2 grandkids. Pool was excellent and the walk to the beach was so short. Between pool and beach we also played golf, rode bikes and took grandkids to a great park. Perfect vacation, perfect location and the house was amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed our Spring Break family reunion in Kiawah. This VRBO was very comfortable for all of us (ages ranging from 3 to 68), very conveniently located to the beach, and very well appointed and maintained. The pool was a huge hit with our 3 and 6 year-old granddaughters. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful house in a great area!! Kept everyone busy for 6 days! The 3 school age grandchildren saw lots of wildlife, rode miles on the beach, and swam nearly every day in the pool!! An excellent vacation spot!!

We stayed a full week in this beautiful home in September and loved every minute of it. The 5 star reviews are real! While it is an older home, it's cared for very well. Probably the best stocked kitchen I've seen in a rental. The pool and hot tub was fun for the kids. We rented bikes and had a short 5 minute ride to the beach access. Beds were super comfy and I really have zero complaints. There is an onsite manager who can assist you if you need help or have questions, I didn't realize this until a couple days in but Kim the owner was kind and responsive to me. There is a house being built beside it but it was not noisy or bothersome at all. I would absolutely rent this property again in a future visit.

6 friends gathered for a week of special celebrations for a special birthday! We loved the accessibility of the house to all the fun in Kiawah! We had a private chef dinner one evening and the kitchen was well appointed for this fun! We enjoyed the pool and the opportunities for biking the island and the short walk to the beach was lovely! A great house to rent!!

This is a very nice home with easy access to the beach. Lots of TLC by the owners, as the property does a great job of accommodating 6 adults and 3 teens. Everything very clean and great pool for swims before and after going to the beach. Our family has been on a Kiawah vacation for

What an amazing trip! The home was so clean, so cozy, and so charming. We spent so much time in the pool and spa which were wonderful. The walk to the beach is the most relaxing and beautiful stroll - we saw so much wildlife and gorgeous plants that we truly looked forward to the walk. The beach was nearly empty every time we went and felt so secluded and peaceful. The neighborhood is very quiet and so beautiful to walk through. There was construction going on next door but it truly wasn’t bothersome at all - nothing crazy loud and we even shared ice cream sandwiches with the crew! All around an amazing place to stay, we would and probably will gladly go back!

We stayed at this home for the second time and loved it just as much as we did a couple of years ago. It is a comfortable home, decorated with fun and colorful art, and it remains the best-stocked home we've ever stayed in. It is clear that the owners are active participants in the home's maintenance and there are special touches throughout the home that make it a fun place to stay. My children spent the majority of our 4 days in the pool, which was well heated and warm to swim in, despite the chilly air during our stay. They had a blast! The proximity to the beach is also great... just a short walk or bike ride. Thanks for hosting us, Kim! We hope to return again soon!

This property is even better than what it appears online. Clean, very well supplied. Great location, about 8 minute walk from beautiful beach. Good pool. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Wifi worked well for those who needed it. Perfect for our group of 6 adults and 1 year old baby. We were all very happy with this choice.
It's not related to the property, but the weather and nearby golf was spectacular.

The bike ride/walk to beach is just perfect for any age (we had 4 to adult). The owners/prop manager we’re incredibly responsive. Recommend eye masks for anyone sleeping upstairs as the bedrooms have large skylights-- perfect for stargazing!
*The only negative is that they began construction in the lot next door, which was really loud and awful. The owners were unaware it was going on, so still giving the property 5 stars.

Loved the beach towels provided and the saltwater pool and spa. The extra items provided in kitchen and utility/laundry room were a special touch above other homes we have rented. Location on second street from beach made for easy journey on foot. We hope to return in 2023! Thanks Kim!

This home couldn't have been better suited for our family (5 adults, two kids, one infant). Spacious bedrooms, large living spaces, beautiful outdoor space, large pool and hot tub. The location was optimal -- close enough to ride bikes into the town center, or all the way to the Ocean Course near the tip of the island. The home was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well stocked with everything you would need, especially the kitchen which allowed us to do quite a bit of cooking on our own. Plus a huge grill. If you have little kids, would suggest bringing some sort of beach toys -- there is a wagon but you'll need some buckets, shovels, etc. if they are interested in digging in the sand. They do sell this type of thing at the grocery store in town as well. Overall an absolutely perfect stay!
