It’s hard to get around the town

location was good for accessing the old town Colle di Val d’Esta. staff very helpful and rooms very comfortable

unfortunately the restaurant was closed, the bar was more of a pool , casual bar than a hotel bar. hotel could benefit from having a bar in the lounge area as it lacked atmosphere in the evening. the flip side is that the hotel was quiet,

was a little difficult to find the main entrance when you first arrive. after that it’s easy

the location is perfect close to best places to visit in Tuscany. The pool absolutely exceptional. Everything is very well thought through in this hotel. We are planning to come back for longer period and discover more about Tuscany. 4 days is not enough. Thank you to the staff and see you again.

Great location, very good breakfast and good size room.

Air conditioning was on heat. When we asked why we were told a guest had complained because it was cold! It was quite warm and stuffy in the room.

The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was excellent every morning with lots of different options each day. Very good location to tour around Tuscany. The outdoor pool and our massages were great.

Our room was cleaned every day whether we put the “Do Not Disturb” sign up or not. It was nice to have a clean room, but we wanted privacy some days and never got it. There was no cold water in our sink or shower, and the water temperature in both faucets fluctuated constantly. Room was very hot as the AC was not controllable. The pillows were very poor.

Great location inside the pretty village of Colle di Val D'Elsa. Accommodations were spacious. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The spa was perfect for relaxation after a day of touring through Tuscany. Parking was provided, which is not often the case when staying inside these ancient towns.

Hotel is clean and breakfast was so delicious.Free parking and location are also a great benefit.

Room equipments and hotel overall looks so old. Air condition was out of service so we ended up with an open window because it was too hot.

Great location, amazing for 'daily trips' really close to many other places in the Tuscany area. The rooms are clean and quite big, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Breakfast was great and in the hotel area, there are some nice restaurants and bars, we loved walking to the historic center, and

Although the parking lot is 3 minute's walk from the hotel, we managed to park in the hotel street a few times during our stay.

Elegant

The structure is beautiful and we found the staff incredibly gentle and responsive for all our requests. They made us find a small present in the room at the time of our arrival, it was nice. They also didn’t charge for some drinks taken from the mini bar. The spa downstairs is really cozy and well managed as they ask for reservation allowing only a limited number of people per time. Make sure to book your spot in advance! They have a remarkable breakfast variety, from fruit to yogurt, you can find any kind of Italian pastry and juice. The location is quite close to Siena and other beautiful touristic areas which you can reach quickly with a car. Also the small town has a great history and it’s worth spend a day to go around and eat in one of the many authentic restaurants behind the corner.

The only annoying thing, very specific to our case, which maybe can be fixed for the future, was that we had quite noisy upstairs neighbors and we couldn’t sleep until late. For me was a bit killing, but I am sure it’s been just an unfortunate case. I would go back there.

location in Colle di Vale d’Elsa was nice & close to neighbouring towns. The spa was relaxing. The hotel needs some updating. breakfast included was very good.

This hotel is well positioned just inside the city walls. The rooms are quite spacious, light and airy, and there's a lift. The bathroom was well equippped and the bed comfortable. Wifi was very good and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. Breakfast was excellent with lovely little pastries and donuts, plus a wide range of other items.

The hotel promotes a restaurant on top of the city walls - whilst this has a great location and atmosphere, it was rather expensive and not as good as we'd imagined.
